Super excited about yesterday's lift. Hit legs really hard and on my last two sets I repped 630lbs on the leg press. I haven't been able to lift legs heavy or at all for quite some time so I am very excited to have done this. Trying to build these chicken legs up! My sets for leg press were 15, 15, 12, 10, 8, 5, 5. Super killer especially after doing three exercises before that. I used to hate doing legs but it's crucial to work them for symmetry. I sure as hell don't want to be top heavy. I've learned to "Embrace the grind" if you wanna say, I've learned that without pain, we cannot grow. That goes for life too. You have to get through the bad to really enjoy the good in this life. Slowly but surely I am learning that. It's a tough process, to not let your demons overcome what you're tryouts by to achieve. There have been so many days where I wanted to get drunk and not workout. "It was a tough day, I'm tired, I'm lonely" blah blah blah. That's all bullshit. I made those excuses too many times. When I started feeling like that then I would just turn on YouTube and watch some of the people who inspire me. @danalinnbailey has to be at the top. She has so much passion and dedication that it's hard NOT to get pumped up to go throw some weights around. Just thinking about it gets me pumped, or maybe hats the pre workout pulsing through my veins! Thanks for listening to my rant. Time to go hit chest and tris at 24. Be well everyone. Get it.
