Im thinking way to much about their paralels once again. The idea that Beef can control their own blood made me think about the med school forcing Beef to get small bleeding injuries so they first start testing their limits on himself, since the whole your body has an instinctual reflex to avoid bringing harm to itself (the same way after holding your breath for really long you kinda gave up), Beef could have a similar reflex that comes from his powers.

Still rotating the beefstrid implications with this idea, bc of the whole Vstrid can only use his powers on other living beings (or vertebrates) dilema, how he would react to knowing that the med school forces this type of teaching on Beef, the angst potential...

well maybe after this freaking project Im doing ends me, I'll draw them in their costumes hehe

PAT HAIII ^_^ !!!!! im obsessed w the idea of beef having to use their powers on themself to practice.. thinking abt how they hav to get sooo precise and controlled w their powers or they end up walking around lightheaded all day bc they used too much blood practicing…

omg and the instinct to not hurt himself keeping him somewhat safe .. but he has to go against that to form injuries that he can heal. i imagine for every level of injury he has to learn to heal he does it on himself first in some way (at least for injuries that are minor enough he can still remain conscious after getting them)

i hav this image in my head of beef just sitting in a training room trying to push past the instinctive desire to not hurt yourself (maybe with a wound more severe than he’s used to) .. like fighting against his own head to be able to practice … omg theres soooo much angst in my head abt this . i love that it’d theoretically keep them alive bc their powers cant fatally hurt them but at the same time they have to fight a lesser version of that instinct every day. maybe once the injuries get more serious beef asks vstrid to come with them to practice, just in case anything bad happens and he needs quick healing .. and vstrid wants to say no because they dont want to have to see beef hurting themself like this, and it sucks that beef has to put themself through this all for practice. but he does it anyway cos if anything happened to beef while vstrid wasnt there he’d never forgive himself ILOVE ITTTT.

Hey! Hey you! Are you a writer, artist, someone with too many aus in their brain or just someone who likes talking abt blorbos within the MCSR fandom? Well! As of recent I've been trying to set up writercord 2.0- I mean the MCSR Creative Corner (featuring the more confusing acronym of all time), a place for us fandom creatives to talk and brainstorm on discord without resorting to meowing all over tumblr (although you can still meow all over tumblr if you want, be free.)

simply put, i just really would like a place us writers to talk and brainstorm abt writing and characterization, share snippets of upcoming fics to each other, or even ask others for help and feedback. and then i thought it'd be nice to offer the same sorta support for artists, so that's how we got here. (also i miss writercord, it's not dead dead but it's apparently very inactive, sadge)

you don't have to be an artist or a writer to join, the only requirement is to follow the rules, aka be nice. as long as you have mcsr brainworms and a creative mind, i think you'll be fine here!

Beef has two, the first is dedicated to his actual irl boyfriend, and apparently the second is Rowl.

Doog doesn't have a bf command but he does have a polycule command, (and the response of the !call command is !polycule). He also does have a husband command (which doesn't answer with silver) and a newhusband command which does. the polycule command responses with both

also not a bf command, but mongey has !biggeneralsupremeoverlordchungusgrandmaster which pings rowl.

my main worry is. history lesson, there actually used to be an mcsr writing discord before however its, uh, probably dead, also i can do better /silly. so if ur in that old one u can like, tell me not to do this i guess, but then u have to promise to revive that one somehow because i really do think this community on tumblr would appreciate some sorta of mass brainstorming space that isnt, bothering each other on tumblr on the daily
