And the only way to get rid of a shadow is to turn off the light. To stop running from the darkness, and face what you fear. Head on.

“You can sit in the pine trees. You can feel at home. You can breathe a sigh of silence in the woods. You can bawl your heart out. Make your feelings known.”
When u start getting hella feelings for someone 😅🔫
Be a better you, for you.

Eating disorders are so irritating because one day you could be laughing, eating a pint of ice cream and 7 pieces of pizza with your friends, thinking you’re completely recovered and then the next you could be crying in the bathroom wanting to purge because you ate a salad for dinner.
AKA saying things like “WHAT is going on with you!?” or “you ate that last week with no problem at all!” to someone who is affected by an eating disorder will not do any good. If you’re confused about their actions… imagine what it’s like to be the one feeling like they’re less than everyone else because of how back and forth they feel. Living with an eating disorder is already stressful enough, and pointing out the unsteadiness makes it all the more overwhelming.
who needs a boyfriend when i have grey’s anatomy to break my heart
My friend: If you could bring back one person who died on Grey's Anatomy, who would you pick?
Me: SLEXIE
Her: That's two people...
Me: No they're soulmates so IT COUNTS AS ONE PERSON.
I love you. I do. I love you. I’ve always been in love with you. I will always be in love with you. We can get married. And you’re gonna be an amazing surgeon. We’re gonna have 2 or 3 kids. We’re gonna have the best life, Lexie. You and me. You can’t die because we’re supposed to end up together. We are meant to be. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you.

Some positive things that I have realised since ‘losing’ my thigh gap… I am so much warmer – yes hello to a normal core temperature. My body is now happier and healthier and able to keep me warm – which is an added bonus with winter just around the corner, being cold is no fun. Dropping my phone no longer results in it smashing onto the floor; THANK YOU BODY! Jeans are actually FITTING me! Like actually fitting! Imagine a world where they don’t just fall off, IT IS MAGICAL. My legs no longer ache/ get tired easily during a long shift standing up at work – strong thighs are beautiful. I can sit cross-legged and my feet warm up when they nestle against my inner thighs – yes this is my natural sitting position and it is now even more comfortable than before. When I practice Yoga my stance is so much stronger – my core stability is now amazing. I am starting to accept myself for who I am, not who I thought I should be. Preach it. One of the most important ones; my cat’s can now sit on my lap and not fall straight off! It is so lovely when a cat cuddles up on your lap on a dark/cold evening and they can finally sit there comfortably instead of nearly falling off every 5 seconds before giving up and retreating to their usual position on the sofa. And finally; THIGH GAPS DO NOT MEAN ANYTHING. They are based on the biological positioning of your hips; most people are not “meant” to have a gap between their thighs. There are beautiful people who have thigh gaps, but there are also beautiful people who do not have thigh gaps. It is not a trophy or a thing to strive for. It is not ‘beautiful’ or 'desirable’ or an 'achievement’. The most important thing is to be happy and healthy; your body is meant to be unique. Take a moment each and every day to thank your body for keeping you alive no matter what. Make a vow to not mistreat or abuse it again; you only get one in your lifetime. You are incredibly important.
