This is a post explaining what every body of the circus gang reflects from their irl conterparts, and what insecurities they convey, as hinted by Caine. (This is LONG)

1. Pomni; while de don't get much on Pomni, especially on her nightmare sequence, her being a jester implies that she saw herself as a clown before the circus, someone that couldn't be taken seriously. And that feeling can also tie with her fear of being forgotten. She fears her feelings won't be taken seriously due to her position as "the clown", and that once people don't find her funny of entretaining anymore, they'll leave or turn against her. She sees herself as a walking joke.

2. Jax; Rabbits are fragile and weak animals, that can't fend for themselves and run instead of fighting, that's everything Jax despises, being seen as weak, pathetic and a wimp, Jax often chooses cartoonish violence but when It came to fighting Pomni, he didn't, he tried to push her away, because he's not a fighter, he often flights when he gets too scared or cornered by His actions, a rabbit is everything Jax despises, but everything he is.

As a plus, being a rabbit can add to the Trans!Jax theory. Rabbits are seen as a "girly" animal, something cute, while Jax keeps insisting he's manly enough. His skin being pelled off In the nightmare sequence can also imply him being outed as trans and being laughed at.

3. Kinger; being THE KING in chess, the most important piece on the operation and one of the main creators of Caine, his body probably symbolises his position on the C&A Company, a higher up, that holds powers, and still, he's mostly powerless against Caine, an irony of destiny. The King also can't be taken out without losing the game, hence why he can't abstract.

4. Ragatha; a victim of domestic abuse, Ragatha sees herself as nothing but a doll, constantly being toyed around and destroyed, and yet, she endures the pain, mostly why she's a RAGdoll; her buttom eye, as implied, is most likely a irl result of her mother's abuse. Maybe not with a knife itself, but It felt like it was cutting through her, something that left a scar that makes her even more insecure about herself.

5. Zooble; Zooble's is the most on the nose one, being trans, they struggle with their self-image, not knowing how to present themselves, they feel abstract, trapped and terrible about their own body, and no matter how much bits and parts they change, it never feels right.

6. Gangle; Gangle is implied to suffer from depression, her nightmare sequence showing her paintings getting more and more sad as moments go on, her comedy mask being so fragile means that she can't be happy for long, no matter how much she tries to protect that happiness, it always slips and breaks right In front of her, and tears will always come, her body having no fingers and being made out of ribbons can also reflect the fact that she couldn't fufill her dream to be an artist, making it harder for her to draw in general.
