Tyyy! I'm still not sure about what happened to Greg and Knight but it would still be the same as the canon's premise, they got into an accident, had surgery and became Dog Man.

And for their relationship before the accident, they would have a really best buds close-knitted pet-owner kinda friendship, and Greg would help out with Knight's school works (definitely not by eating his homework 😭) and his hall monitor role

Is there any updates on what your are plotting for Greg’s parents or would they be referred to as knights parents (okay have to stop before I start yapping)

They would be referred to as Greg's parents, but some people may still call them Knight's parents (even Greg himself). But most kids would actually call them Dog Man's parents (I think it would be fitting for "Dog Man" to be Greg's wildly known nickname in the AU. Some kids may use it as a cute nickname, but some would use it to taunt Greg, which results in him being triggered and acting uncomfortable whenever he's being called Dog Man)

I saw the dog man good in P.E post and I think that’s perfect for him but did it surprise any one who’s in that class with him (because well he’s failing everything else and NO DISRESPECT TOMY MAN GREG but the hall motoring outfit doesn’t give the hole . . .athletic vibe (idk) so lol yeah that’s all

I think they won't be really surprised because Knight was already killing it with P.E (like how it's mentioned that he was skilled with kung-fu in the movie). So Dog Man just uses that opportunity to improve on it, like doing moves on all 4 instead of 2, and his energetic nature also helps with it. And both Knight and Dog Man are hall monitors that are more lean on the physical side too, but Dog Man is better with problem solving

I'm still coming up with this and it could prob change but so far all I have right now is that Dog Man is currently living with Knight's parents, though after the surgery, his relationship with them starts to fall apart (I mean, imagine your son's head is gone, and his dog takes over his body instead 💔) That’s why Greg sees Chief (the principal) as more of a parental figure now. But dw, Knight’s parents will take some time to warm to him over time ✨
