Okay I finished soul eater with my partner and their opinion is that they fucking HAATED HATED HATED it they didn't like the ending at all and they didn't even like the entire like second half of it either tbh they only liked the begining but they definitely hated the last episode me personally I've not seen it in a while and I agree it isn't perfect so far from perfect and it's very very corny like so corny and some stuff is dumb but I still really really like it

Ive ranted about this on Instagram but now that the end credits of fire force was animated I need you all to know I don't want a remake of soul eater I don't want it I don't want it but I was really excited seeing the clip of the main meisters as kids with the song pairing and also first time Maka's mom being animated and shown was cool I fucking guess

Maybe I'll go on a rant here too but genuinely I don't know I can't even try to give fire force a chance it just isn't good to me and I don't think ohkubo can do better than soul eater which is why he puts everything in the same world but it just doesn't work and Im irrationally angry at the people who want a remake of the soul eater anime especially because now the end credits of fire force showing the cast of soul eater it really makes me disappointedly suspicious they're hinting at making a new soul eater

I always make fun of spirit for acting like an insane person when he talks to maka like yes maka is going to cringe and hate you when you're being crazy but I do the exact same thing to my little sister when I visit her so maybe there's some empathy from me to this sad sad man
