“Wyn!” Faith called out in excitement. “I brought you some ever flavour beans like you asked!” slowing down, she came to a hold as she stood in front of her friend, smiling.

"Oh thank you Faith! You are so kind~!" Sulwyn hummed, handing Faith the random change. "I hope I get better flavours this time! Last time they were all horrible!" She chuckled, fixing her jumper.

Welcome to my Nightmare. (open rp)

Six years ago, a humble boy of eleven had received a letter from a winged rat (it was an owl) that told him he was meant for greatness. He had been born with power, wisdom and the ability to use it. Well no, actually all it had been was an enrollment letter to some big fancy school. BUT. But this school was none other than Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was something that he still thought about every day of his life. Every morning when he woke up to his internal alarm screaming ‘The Eye of the Tiger’ at him, Farley would wake up with the thought that he, Farley Mason, the youngest of all of his cousins, ridiculed and laughed at…. was a fucking wizard. And he took comfort in this notion. In the fact that he could rub it in their faces and dance and sing around with a stick that shot magic out of it and they couldn’t do shit all to stop him—

Okay he didn’t go that far, but that didn’t mean that he’d never thought about it before. He may never stoop that low but it was still fucking awesome knowing that one day he would reach Gandalf levels of coolness. Something that he did, actually, brag about. A lot.

It was with this thought, that Farley found himself walking down the hall with a skip in his step, bruises peppering his skin and his underwear half hanging out of his pants as he tried to readjust himself on his way out of the bathroom. So much for Gryffindors being nice people. Half of his shimmy was to get his underoos back in order, half of it was to the song in his head but by the time he was half way down the halls he was full on dancing, not even trying with his underwear anymore. Why bother it’d probably just get yanked on again anyway.

Sulwyn ran with her head down low, feeling ashamed that she was so engrossed in reading the latest Sherlock Holmes novel in the library that she almost missed Potions class completely.

She turned quickly on her heels down to the next corridor, but just as she did she bumped into someone, causing her books and papers to go askew everywhere.

"Oh my!" the Gryffindor exclaimed, "I am terribly sorry!" she uttered, trying to pick up the papers and books quickly.

THE YULE BALL IS COMING

Hello everyone~ It was decided in the Skype chat that a Yule Ball is starting. Everyone start asking out your dates, as we are looking for next weekend to be the Yule ball!

Lucky laughed a bit, “It just takes some practice, you should of seen me my first year… I blew up a cauldron just trying to get all the ingredients in…Although, I never expected the potions room to be so…dim.” She laughed again, ” You have a sister? How nice! Does she still go here? Sorry, Hehe. I’m an only child so I always wondered what it would be like to have a sister or brother.”

Sulwyn smiled, “My sister graduated when I was in my first year. She was in Hufflepuff, so I was kind of hoping to get into that house…” she looked down at her notes for a brief moment before looking back up at Lucky, “However, I do enjoy being in Gryffindor. It seems I suit it better.”

A Gryffindor who had hoped to be in Hufflepuff. Sounded sort of familiar. Like herself. A smile played onto Lucky’s lips, “The Hufflepuff house is pretty sweet huh? In my first year I had thought I got put into Gryffindor by mistake… I then realized how wrong I was by the end of the year. The worst part about the realization of it all was it was all thanks to a Slytherin student named Holly!” Lucky rarely spoke of her friendship with the Slytherin student. The had often crossed paths, and each time is would be awkward…but comforting in a way too.

"It is! I find it so interesting that it's almost like a cozy burrow, according to my friend Faith." she beamed, thinking of how cool it would be to visit there one day, "That's neat a fellow friend helped you figure things out. I think everyone is capable of helping others out in one way or another. You just have to find each others strengths and weaknesses and help each other reach your goal." Sulwyn smiled, slowly gathering her notes together.

FACT 03:

Faith’s closest friend, who she actually considers to be more like a sister to her, is a Gryffindor named Sulwyn Baskerville. Though she is a year younger than Faith, more often than not you will find Faith going to her for help and advice. In Faith’s eyes, she should probably be the older one of the two, especially since she’s taller than Faith.

Sadly, the only classes that they take together so far is Astronomy.

Lucky had just been passing by, She had some time on her hands and figured she would do what she always did. Explore! The Gryffindor came to a stop when she saw another girl by herself though she had a scatter of books and papers before her on the table. Lucky curiously went to the other and simply looked down at her until she was spoken to.

“Hey, …Transfiguration huh? Pretty decent class huh?” Lucky sat down and looked over a few notes on the table and then back at Sulwyn. “I’m Lucky Charmstar, A fifth year.”

“It is a pretty decent class.” Sulwyn giggled, extending her hand to shake the fifth year’s, “Sulwyn Baskerville. Fourth year. Transfiguration isn’t my strongest subject, but I do enjoy it nevertheless.” She played with her glasses that were just beside a pile of notes, “What classes do you enjoy Lucky?”

The older Gryffindor shook the other’s hand, “Sulwyn Baskerville…Nice to meet you.” It was nice. Other than her dorm mates  Lucky had rarely spoken to other Gryffindor girls. Not quite like a friend anyways, This was a chance to change that.  “Hmm.. I suppose..I have a few. I’m a natural when it comes to flying, although I picked up Herbology quickly too since it reminded me of back home. Oh I’m decent with potions and charms too…” She laughed a bit, “I’m decent with most subjects, except with History of magic. I rather be doing stuff than sitting around going through the history of it all.”

“Pleasure is all mine.” Sulwyn chuckled, “I’m envious you are good at Potions… I never quite get the hang of it. It doesn’t make sense that even the slightest mistake can ruin the potion. You get what I’m saying?” the younger Gryffindor tried to make small talk, “I love History. If you ever need help with it just let me know. I borrowed my sister’s textbooks and read them from cover to cover this past summer.”

"Really!? Oh goodness ok, I better get to memorizing at least three of them then." Faith was so glad to have Sulwyn as a friend.

Sulwyn chuckled, enjoying the company of Faith. Even though she was rather clumsy at times, she still enjoyed her honesty, and trying the best she could be.

"I can't remember 5 of the main extra solar stars outside our solar system that professor said would be on the test..." Faith scratched her nose in nervousness.

"They should be in chapter nine of the text book." Sulwyn smiled, "He only told us to list off three of the five anyways."

"Yes. Even more so now since we didn't get into the same house..." Faith looked a tad sad about that. Though, she was still happy for Sulwyn.

"Hey don't feel sad! We can still see each other during the day!" Sulwyn smiled, giving Faith a light squeeze, "Now what do you need help understanding?"

"Oh.." Faith looked less excited, though she understood. "Another time then lets face off when we are both at our best! And by the way, I sincerely appreciate you offering to help me out with my studying for Astronomy." Faith grinned. "After all, I do miss hanging out with you, it feels the only time we hang out is during the holidays."

"Sorry Faith. I can help you with the basics if you want to?" Sulwyn gave a reassuring smile. "No worries! I don't mind helping out a friend! It has been a while hasn't it..." the brunette looked off to a unfixed point in the distance.

"By the way! I hope you aren't upset with me saying that I am excited to have won against you in our latest wizard duel! You are really good at charms so it helps me out a lot in my confidence whenever I win a duel with you." Faith smiled sheepishly

"It was just a fluke is all." Sulwyn blushed, glancing away, "I was just not thinking is all. Been busy studying lately, and haven't been practicing my charms at all."

"Yes.... Which! Is why I am happy. Since I studied more this time in hopes I keep my grade in the class!" Faith sounded a bit worried though sadly

"If you need to brush up once in a while, you can usually find me in the Great Hall studying." Sulwyn gave a reassuring smile, "I'm usually studying for other subjects, but perhaps we can study together once in a while. I wish you the best of luck during the test Faith!" She gave her friend a pat on the back.
