His cage twitched beneath the padding, aching from denial.

A warm trickle escaped.

He leaked.

And all he could do was listen.

I could see it the moment he waddled in his padding he was soaked, sagging between his legs with every little step. And underneath, still locked, still aching in his tiny cage. I didn’t need to ask if he needed a change. Mommy always knows. But a change is earned… and soggy or not, my little one hadn’t even tried to be good today.
