NYC tomorrow night
Hi, everyone. I’m playing a show as MIDI Users' Group tomorrow night, Saturday, March 30th at 8 PM, with Bianca Hockensmith as Air Darla at Babycastles at 145 W 14th St, New York City, NY 10011. I'm using a Game Genie to turn Street Fighter II players upside down and swap the color palettes while converting the sound to MIDI notes in real time, so I can create music using MIDIpal, MIDIgal, ARPIE and whatever moves you make as a player. Tickets are on a sliding scale of five to ten dollars. Travis
Working on a demo video for the show in NYC this Saturday night.
Also, I'm using a Roland VP-70 for audio-to-MIDI, and the MIDI output sounds bizarre at this point, but I'll continue to tweak parameters until the last minute.

Tumbletail allows you to view all Tumblr posts including the censored ones. I can see censored posts from before Dec 17th and ones posted a few days ago.
I tried reblogging a post I knew Tumblr would flag but nothing appeared. I expected a flagged post to appear. Thinking I’d made a mistake, I tried reblogging it again. Nothing. On Tumbletail, I can see the two duplicate posts.
I created a new tumblr, https://superenemiga.tumblr.com/archive, to use after the censorship while I’m figuring out what to do.
A big reason I loved tumblr was making screenshot collages of my archives as a sort of thumbnail art here: http://www.possiblebitmaps.com/superamiga.html
And I like it exactly how it looks... like I don’t like reblogging inline images, because I liked it all consistent, and the image tumblr replaces “adult content” with drives me crazy. And whenever you post “adult content”, you get that email that says “we’re not judging you, but this stuff doesn’t have a place on tumblr.” It’s so weird.
So I like ending superamiga on December 2018. But as I’m browsing around still reluctantly, there’s so much great stuff on tumblr that I don’t know if I’d see anywhere else in quite the same way. So I’m lingering on for a while to see what I can until the inevitable.
I’m also on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/dream_froth3 until I delete that.
