I’m sorry did Adam say he was moving in with his girlfriend? I mean not anymore obviously, but that’s got to hurt even more. He must be devastated.

When Adam shows up to Morgan’s house, heartbroken and lost. The way Morgan says “Karadec,” then switches to “Adam” because they are no longer in work mode, they are in intimate friend mode. And then he switches from talking like a cop to talking to a friend, opening up and sharing his feelings.

You can see it’s paining Morgan to see him like this, but the hug, I think they both needed that hug.

“It’s the same person. You just… you just loved her too much to see the things that you didn’t want to see. It’s ok. It’s gonna be ok.” Morgan was crying for him but also for herself. She’s not only talking about Lucia, but maybe even Roman.

They don’t show it, but they are definitely standing there holding hands after they release from their hug.

Adam was hugging Lucia at the end and Morgan was hugging Wagner. Both saying goodbye to the last person they kissed.

Perfection. No notes.

A few thoughts for next season. I kinda hope Wagner actually doesn’t die. I know I’m changing my mind, but I need Morgan to tell Adam about the kiss and I think it would come off a little weird if he’s dead. I’d like to see some of Adam interacting with Morgan’s kids. Adam will probably be off the market for a while with a broken heart so him and Morgan’s relationship will probably grow stronger. I’d like a little more backstory for Daphne and Soto. And of course Soto makes Captain, but maybe we get a new Lieutenant? This show is so good and I’m so obsessed that it leaves me with anxiety about cancelation. You just never know nowadays, but hopefully we get many more seasons.

I would have been ok with a drunk kiss at his house but really what the fuck. Now I’m glad he’s leaving the show. Good riddance ✌️

02x16 Turn, Up the Heat

I get it, we have to go through Adam and a girlfriend that he’s trying to love but deep down he’s in love with Morgan. And I appreciated the interactions between the three of them at the hospital, but I really wanted to see worried Morgan at Adam’s bedside and maybe some hand holding. I literally just read a fanfic before this episode where Adam wakes up and calls out Morgan’s name instead of Lucia’s. I loved that! And it’s awesome how Morgan can always make Adam smile. This episode was fantastic!

Now I’m just wondering how long Adam’s gonna string Lucia along before they call it quits this time? And who will end it Lucia or Adam? She’s buying a house, so I sure hope he doesn’t move in with her. Maybe we’ll get more interactions between the three of them and Lucia will pick up the hints.
