"I guess this is the part where I introduce myself, right?"
Sad Song || Maria & Warren
Maria turned to face the person who knew her name. That was strange, but when she realized it was Warren her eyes light up. She didn’t know why she felt so comfortable around him, it was a rare thing, most people made her feel nervous and awkward, but she felt she could be herself around him. “What are you doing here?” She grinned feeling suddenly not so alone and out of place. Her face fell suddenly and her cheeks went red. “Did you see me singing?” She asked feeling self conscious, if she would have known he was watching she would have made more of an effort to perform better. “I just needed a job, I don’t usually sing at places like this.” She glanced around the room before meeting his eyes with a nervous little laugh.
He smiled. It was stupid to be ashamed for coming to see her play and he might not have admitted that's what he was there doing, if it wasn't for the blush and her trying to cover up for her job choice. "I came to see you sing." The faery smiled even more. "You shouldn't be ashamed of where you work, even if it's just here." He glanced around. Not the nicest place, sure, but still. "You voice makes it much better."
Olivia & Warren
Olivia blushed, giving him an apologetic smile. “I am, too.” She sighed and gripped tighter to the small cup in her hand. “Anyway, I’m Olivia.” She offered, a small smile playing across her lips as she talked to him.
He smiled right back at her. He wasn't in a rush and she appeared not to be either. "Warren, it's nice to run into you Olivia." The faery glanced up at the coffee shop and then back to her. "Do you come here often?"
Sad Song || Maria & Warren
Maria was at work, she sat at the piano playing a soft melody for everyone. People were busy with their own conversations. She knew this, her job wasn’t to distract them. It was to be background noise to everything else. Still as she sang along with the music she was playing she noticed a few people eyeing her, she liked when this happen. It gave her a sense of confidence that she rarely ever had. As she finished her song she smiled and said thank you. The room clapped and she stood up gracefully going towards the bar to take her break. She got over and ordered herself a drink, standing their nervously, everyone was dress so nicely, all of them wealthy and well off. Maria felt like she didn’t belong at all. She leaned against the bar and knocked into someone lightly. “Oh I’m sorry,” she said feeling her cheeks turn red with embarrassment.
Warren had a very bad habit of following people. He was horrible with respecting privacy and his actions verged on the point of stalking. To be specific, he was a bit of a stalker - it came with the nature of stalking potential prey. And normally he was very good at the whole thing, disappearing into the shadows before he was noticed, pretending that he wasn't actually following the person. Normally he was good, but not tonight. Tonight he had followed Maria, curious to see what her life entailed, since she knew so much about his. He had been sitting at the bar, his back to her but listening and watching her through the glass behind the bar. He had watched with a sad smile. It was beautiful, beautiful enough to get lost in. And before he knew it she was headed his way and he was scrambling to get out of there quickly. It wasn't quick enough. They collided, even if only a little and he turned to look at her, human eyes wide. "Oh, no, it's ok... Maria?"
Olivia & Warren
It had been a long day for Olivia, so she decided to spend a few quiet moments in a coffee shop near her house. After finishing the muffin she ordered, she decided it was time for her to be heading back to her house. She gotten her favorite latte to go and started to head out the door. Not paying any attention, Olivia pushed open the door felt her face connect with someone’s body. She pulled back, trying to keep hot drink away from the person she’d hit. “Oh! I’m sorry!” She looked up, feeling guilty that she hadn’t been watching where she’d been going.
Warren hadn't been intending on going inside the coffee shop, but the smells were delightful and he enjoyed walking past it on occasion, just to get a whiff of the fresh beans and baking goods. He had been standing near the door, deeply inhaling when he felt another body collide into his. He stumbled back a bit, frowned and shook his head. "Oh, it's fine... I'm just glad you held onto your coffee." He said, nodding at the hot drink in her hand.
Faeries and Demigods // closed// superfeypower
It was an unusual Monday morning for Lily as she walked down the street to her favorite coffee shop. She crossed the street and opened the door only to bump into someone. “Oh, I’m sorry.” She muttered, looking at the stranger.
Warren frowned. He had an awful habit of bumping into people. He shook his head and moved to hold the door open for her. "No, it's my fault, head in the clouds." He said with a pleasant smile. He had managed to avoid spilling the coffee he was holding, so that was a plus.
Suns of the Zodiac
a new independent roleplay blog, featuring three brothers - specifically, the fire signs of the Zodiac. Aries (Joe Manganiello), Leo (Adam DeVine) and Saggi (Jacoby Shaddix) are just trying to live life to the fullest - won’t you help them?
{This is my new RP blog, follow it guys! And go torture them!I'll still be on this one, so no worries~}
“Yes, very odd. I’m not used to ah, possibly tasting good is all?” He shrugs, unaffected. “Maybe one day I’ll be able to meet my match. I think that’d be pretty cool and pretty scary all at the same time.”
Warren laughed. "I'm sorry, I'll try to refrain from saying those things in the future... So what about your past, how did you find out you are what you are?"
Ari gasped. "You've never been to-oh you poor deprived child!" She exclaimed. She was unfazed by the interior or the ride, it was familiar, but she noticed Warren looking around. She was about to comment on the obvious, that it was an indoor ride, but decided against it.
As they neared the front of the line she began to bounce on the balls of her feet with excitement. She turned toward the ride, willing them to let her get on it already. Then she turned to Warren. "If you like roller coasters," she started. "Which I'm guessing you do. Then you're going to love this ride." She said with a smile.
"Well, I've only been on a couple of roller coasters." He said with a little hum, watching the people get loaded into spaceships. They were really going all out with that theme, huh? So far he wasn't completely thrilled by it, though he had to admit that the workers in the space-age customers was a nice touch.
"Have you been to Disneyland many times?" He asked, turning back to glance at her.
~Without removing her arms, she glanced up, nodding vigourously.~
I sure hope you’ve grown up; you’re over four hundred years old!
"Well, it's very hard growing up when you stay just about the same day after day. At least humans have markers to know when they're growing up. Their hair goes gray, they start getting wrinkles, other things."
"Nice to meet you Warren." she said, smiling back at him. She stepped forward in line with him and answered excitedly. "YES!" she almost jumped with excitement, but contained it. "This is my favorite ride in the park!" she exclaimed. "Have you been on it before?" she asked with a bright smile, as they took their first step into the indoor part of the line.
"No, I've never been to Disneyland before." Warren said, surprised at how enthusiastic she was. He flashed a little grin and looked around curiously as they entered the interior. There were sounds and noises and it was all very much like a new world he had entered in to.
Oh! ~Her change in demeanor now quickly changed, a flood of joy rushing forth as she pounced forward and wrapped her arms tightly around Warren’s body, clinging almost like dead weight to him.~ Oh, thank goodness! I was so worried, Wren. So worried. Really worried.
That’s really good. I hope it doesn’t happen again - you seem like a nice person, and bad things shouldn’t happen to nice people.
The faery laughed and lightly hugged her back, though he wasn't sure how exactly to pry her away. He wasn't exactly strong so her weight was enough to double him over a little.
"Oh, I don't mean to worry you, you're a good soul and I don't want to hurt you." He smiled widely. "And you've no need to worry about me, dear, I've long grown up and am quite able to handle myself."
Ehavon watches as the boy touches his chest, arching his brow for a moment. He knew that they were a pretty scarce race, with only a few hundred of them left, with most of them having gone insane from the war. It wasn’t going to be easy to pick up the pieces. Not that Ehavon wanted anything to do with that.
“Yeah, we’re… almost an extinct race. We escaped by coming to this universe, bringing Gallifrey with us.”
"Oh, wasn't that dangerous?" Warren asked with a little hum, tipping his head to the side and then looking at his hands, enchanted by the thought that he had just touched a real, living Time Lord. Wait until his friends... oh, wait, he didn't have any friends. He frowned a looked back up to Ehavon. "So where are the others, why haven't I met one until now?"
