Can we know who the mods are? For newer DR players?
I can’t say exactly who everyone is right now because we’re still finishing up details, but as of now we have about 6 mods for sure and another one pending, all of which were members/mods in the previous 2 games.
We promise, once we get the new page set up about the game we’ll have all of the mod info posted!
I will confirm that the original founders of Hopes Peak Despair (Nina and Carly) will be on the mod team once more.

I'm not saying only four people were displeased, but I don't talk to most of the people anymore so I can't say for sure about the others and I'm not gonna go around hunting down the chat and taking a survey. also, at the anon who thinks they know who I am, who am I? Sorry to break it to the haydas but the 4 people who had no fun in the group were widely anonymously and openly disliked anyway. We all now who and why we are talking about this

It is unfortunate that 4 out of 21 people were unhappy, but for the majority that did have fun it was still worth it.
The original Mods from the first group are hyped to put together this new group that will not include any of our old characters. It’ll be all new OCs and follow DR3 info and... more info will come as it comes together.
I just don't think this is a good idea. why not make a group with no connotations to this and round up the old mods who are also hyped? it feels like a bad idea to try to revive something that shouldn't have hit its endgame in the first place.

But hey. That’s why I made the post on the first groups blog and all these anons are just flipping out over a reblog. The first game went off without a hitch, and was so much fun. The ooc went well, and almost everyone left as friends. I’m sorry for making the critical error of reblogging a post to a different game with a much more hostel ooc following.Â
To the Hater: Chill, no body is forcing you to join. And rude, the mods totally respected triggers and even animated things to make sure they wouldn't trigger people. It was unfortunately the MEMBERS who couldn't always obey the rules. This game finished, it was the OOC that was a mess. Hopefully, new mods will make stricter OOC rules this time...
We are in the process of makeing things better! and fixing the mistakes that were made!
I can name at least four people I know for sure didn't have fun here. I'd name more but I've lost contact with most of them. this group was a shit experience for several people and led to shittier experiences for some, it's not worth trying to make a third game. stop beating a dead horse. I'll even tell you who I am if it makes ya happy
We are doing this for the people who did have fun. No one is denying that the 2nd one went wrong but we are already working on ways to avoid those problems. W are trying to return to roots here. We dont care who you are but tihs is happening and you dont have to be part of it

Rex had given the survivors their options, but Triceri, now revealed to be Alice Evergreen was able to make buttons appear before the Masterminds as well. "I did it... Now if we can get everyone to vote for Hope, we can all get out of here alive."
The survivors had chosen hope, but now it was time for the Masterminds to choose. The students from the first game tried to urge them on, and Ameko, Reid, and Akio tried to convince them as well.
This was the moment. A second chance. Ayame had been faltering until she slammed her hand down on the button after talking to Reid. "I can't do this anymore..."
Yuki watched her friend and looked at Reid, seeing he already pushed the button for hope. This was a chance to start over. She followed and pushed her button as well. "Teddy Bear..." Reid hugged her tightly, happy they can be together.
Soon Tachibana, Tara, and Manni pushed their buttons for hope too.
"I can see Mooncake again." Tachibana said while smiling.
"I can make more toys and forget this despair." Tara stated happily.
"I can... get out." Manni sighed thankfully.
The only person remaining was Rex.Â
"Traitors! Despair is the only thing... Despair..." He was about to press his button for despair to execute himself again when Aiko tackled him.
"Please, don't." She hugged him closely and looked into his eyes. "Everyone else chose a second chance, why can't you? Let's start over. Please, Rex." Tears were welling in her eyes and her hope was strong.
"Aiko..." Something finally clicked in Rex's mind. He looked around the room and back towards the candy cane striped hair girl in front of him. He hugged her back and whispered in her ear. "Let's end this game. For good." Convinced, Rex finally pushed the Hope button and a flash of light illuminated the area blinding everyone.Â
Everyone in the room braced themselves for whatever was coming their way. But the light was warm and filled with Hope. They were finally getting out of here.
ALL of the students wake up in strange pods. They're greeted to the sound of cheers and seeing people who looked vaguely familiar coming to help them out. As you exit the pod you realize your hair is much longer and your reflection shows you're older. How many years had you been in there?
It didn't matter now. You were finally free.
You looked around at your fellow classmates and rush to those who had previously been dead. No one was injured. Everyone was okay.
One pod still didn't open yet though. It was pretty beat up and had many rude drawings doodled all over it. Rex's pod.
Aiko had quickly left her pod to rush over to his. Meanwhile, everyone in the room began to turn their defenses on the one pod.
It finally opened to reveal The Mastermind who put them all through this. He still seemed groggy waking up and let out a yawn. He then smiled sheepishly at everyone, "Hey everyone! Heh... Crazy game, huh?"
SLAP. PUNCH. BAM.
Aiko had slapped him, Aliced had punched him and Hotaru had thrown a spray can at him. Rex winced and took the hits, "Guess I deserved that..."
Mob mentality was about to set in until Aiko tackle hugged him and began to cry. "You crazy bastard. We're finally out. We're finally free."
Rex smiled sadly and hugged her back. "Thank you... For never giving up on me." He kissed the top of her head and looked into her tear stained face. "I'm sorry." With that he kissed her.
And then mixtures of groans and sighs could be heard from the overt fluffiness and anger still felt towards him. But everything was finally over.
When Rex and Aiko broke from the kiss, Rex smirked and giggled. "Well, don't just stand there! You've seen three different endings. How about you role play your reactions each time. It's what makes the game fun, right?"
Aiko broke the fourth wall with him, "That's right! The End everyone. The epilogue is finally here. Send in your reactions and thanks for playing!"
The last alternative ending has been released. The game is officially over. It's been a crazy ride but we all survived. Don't forget to never lose hope because there's always a new day that brings new opportunities.
