A talk by Gary Bernhardt from PyCon 2014
Chronicle # 1: It's only the beginning
I've started my journey into the tech industry. I enrolled at Bitmaker Labs in Toronto for their full stack web development program. It's a full time commitment for 9 weeks to cover the fundamentals of Ruby on Rails, UNIX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, and more.
Somehow, tomorrow is the start of week 4. I say 'somehow' because time is flying. It means I'm busy learning and having fun. I'm already working with Ruby on Rails and creating web apps by following assignment tutorials. I'm trying to learn and digest as much information as my cognitive resources will allow. I go to the lab, learn, code, go home, review, sleep, and repeat. It's exhausting but rewarding at the same time.
