Stefano raises an eyebrow at his new surroundings.Ā This aesthetic has potential, but that potential is hampered by a heavy reliance on traditional themes and a somewhat uninspired design.Ā
He canāt recall with any certainty how he came to be here, and he isnāt aware of having ever seen this particular location in Union before, but that isnāt terribly unusual for him these days.Ā The world twists and changes around him, and in fact he twists and changes it himself quite a bit as well, so it isnāt exactly surprising to find himself in a new place.
This place, however, is distinctly different from anything he has seen in quite a while.Ā In fact, he has reason to doubt he is even still in Union.Ā He is standing in what appears to be a churchyard dotted with gravestones and mausoleums.Ā The church itself rises up in front of him, though he is still at least a hundred yards away from it.
Itās a grand structure, the sort of thing he would expect to see in a Renaissance painting, during the time when society was dominated by religious ideas and art was dominated by religious themes.Ā Itās not to his taste, but itās still impressive in a way.
His analysis is interrupted by a footstep behind him, and he turns abruptly to see the girlās father, who looks none too happy to see him.
