This is one of my favorite posts because that cat’s fucking name is fucking meatloaf

Let us just appreciate that this person’s dad didn’t know when they would be home and so he couldn’t plan for them to be able to join the family for dinner, but he knew with no doubts that dear sweet Meatloaf staying in that exact position for hours was an absolute in this scenario. Truly, that cat was named well.

Vampire Academy as Kinds of Nerds:

Rose is an animal physiology nerd, obvs. She participates in strikes against animal testing and promotes the creation of more natural reserves in her social media. She knows cryptic facts about any animal that is mentioned in the conversation and becomes friends with any creature around her, except for humans.

Dimitri is a movie nerd, specialised in westerns. He can recite every sentence in Bonanza and knows the whole life story of the cast of his favourite movies. He also loves black and white movies and insists on seeing them in an antique movie projector.

Lisa is a literature nerd. She has the biggest collection of classics a 18 year old girl could accumulate and she has some in several languages. Lisa also collects biographies of her favourite authors and often talks about the characters of the books as if they were real and comments on the rethoric and the style of each author.

Christian is a music nerd. He knows eveything from Mozart to Fall Out Boy, including Edith Piaf, Nina Simone, Sex Pistols... he collects vynils and CDs of every existing music genre, and can spend hours explaining the soundtrack of every movie (he lost it when the LOTR movies came out). He can spend the night with Vivaldi and wake up to the sound of Iron Maiden without losing a beat.

Adrian is an art nerd, but not in the classical sense. He doesn't care much for the famous artists, although he knows them well thanks to college. Adrian likes to find the less known artists from any époque and base his art on their work. He won't talk to you about Picasso, but he'll spend a whole day explaining to you how Jean Metzinger developed Cubism.

Sydney is a mythology nerd. Greek and Roman myths are her passion, specially all the temples and mausoleums built around them. Sydney has walls of her house completely covered with maps of these buildings and drawings of the legends, not only gods, but creatures of the underworld and Afterlife stories as well. She collects compendiums of these stories in original classic greek and latin and translates them for fun.
