I’m currently working on my “Sounds” series. “Block Chords” woodcut and vinyl block layering to represent the layering of sounds in a recording studio.

We agree! Why Print? Print is sensory. There’s a reward in producing something tangible and leaving the workshop with inky fingers and ink smudged work-clothes. There’s an element of risk and reward in printmaking. Analogue printmaking, whereby materials are manipulated by hand, include woodcut, linocut, etching, aquatint, screen-print, and lithography.
