can we talk about how in the third season of The L Word, Max is portrayed as this crazy person who is getting upset at everyone else (oh, scary testosterone!) meanwhile everyone is being horrible and transphobic to him and he is simply reacting??? like i’m assuming people have changed their minds about this show since then, but i want to make sure it isn’t just me
at one point jenny starts writing this totally invasive story about Max and his transition, and when he reacts and tells her he is very uncomfortable with it, she tells him that he scared her and they both blame it on the testosterone. ugh, i know i’m about 15 years late on this one, but still.

me as a 12 year old: yeah, women are just objectively more beautiful. like its just true. women are always more attractive than men, thems the facs. it is nature, god’s will, if you may. i am heterosexual.
yall know why the moonligth boys dont have a fan base, or fanpages dedicated to them like cmbyn or love simon? because their black. And yall exclude moonlight from absolutely everything because yall find it unrealistic to have a gay ship that consists of dark skinned black guys. Ashton sanders should of gotten the same hype timothee chalamet got. He should have the same amount of instagram followers and even more. The amount of emotion he put into that performance is insane. He cried just like yall precious elio did, he kissed another boy just like elio did as well. But nope, timothee chalamet cried in front of a fire place so he is THIS GENERATIONS ACTOR. And Jarell jerome was payed DUST! He was absolutely incredible for a first time film actor. the lgbtq wants rep only if its white boys making out. As long as straight girls can swoon over at least one of the actors, the film will prosper. I know i’ve posted something similar to this, but yall are actually terrible. especially tumblr. Moonligth won a whole oscar for crying out loud. and Ashton is only in talks for one film, while timothee chalamet literally got casted for THREE more upcoming films. THREE! you see how POC have to do double the work white actors have to do?? Am i mad? Yes. Also i hope the cmbyn sequel flops. good bye. aristotle and dante is coming for everyones wig
I really can’t stop thinking about this post. Just for context, with $65.3m Moonlight earned more money at the box office than Call Me By Your Name ($41.3m) and Love, Simon ($64.8m).
Moonlight also garnered more accolades, with 279 nominations and winning 155 awards than Call Me By Your Name (235 nominations, 106 awards) and Love, Simon (13 nominations, 4 awards). Also, it’ s worth remembering that Moonlight won the Academy Award for Best Film.
All the people associated with this film should be in demand. Moonlight should have garnered the same kind of social media attention as those other films. Black people really aren’t exaggerating when they say you have to do twice as much for half the reward.
Reblog to make a transphobe uncomfortable eating M&M’s
They did the same with the Brown M&M
Clearly they’re together too, two happy Trans Women Lesbians.
@exceedinglytrans
it probably makes transphobes extra uncomfortable that they are canonically gorgeous.
