Hiatus Notice

I need to take a break from Zex for a while. Some things have happened with him recently that really got to me and It's just kind of depressing to come back here now.

This will be a short break, I plan to come back in early September. Until then I can be found on darkdiamonddust and radiantkeybladeprincess

New class | University AU | Zexion

Zexion was seated in the back of the room. Taking this class wasn’t much more than a formality. He knew this all, he just needed the credits from the class to move on to the next level. When the door opened, he turned his head, watching the late student. He was cute, what a surprise. He nodded to the empty seat next to him, inviting him to sit.

Demyx quickly rushed to the seat offered, taking out his book and pen. He ducked his head low, resting it on his head and blushing deeply. He’d noticed how attractive the boy next to him was and it just made the situation even more embarrassing. To think, he’d not only been late but he’d ended up with his stomach in twists, hoping that the other wouldn’t judge him.

"Hey, thanks man. You kinda saved my ass there." He mumbled, trying his best to keep his eyes forward.

Zexion smirked, sitting back in his seat with his arms crossed behind his head. "No problem." He watched him with some interest, more interest than he had in the lecture.

After the class ended, he took no time at all to gather his things. "So, what's your name?"

It almost seemed unreal that Demyx had made it. After all that time of lazing about in class and his terrible attendance, he’d actually made it to university (and a good one too). He swore to himself to be on time for every class, every lecture, everything he did; it seemed that was already out of the window, though.

As he pushed open the door to his class, he saw everyone already seated and tried his best to just slip into the closest chair without anyone noticing.

Why don’t we all just take a moment to realize that Zexion, despite his calm and collected exterior, was quite a bit more unhinged than most of the fandom gives him credit.  Being that he lost his heart at an age integral to learning how one’s own emotions develop (childhood into adulthood), it seriously would not be far fetched to think that he’s simply using his outward appearance and carefully chosen words to manipulate those around him. (Granted, in this scene, I’m pretty sure he’s freaking out because he’s so weakened and being threatened, but his FACE looks absolutely mad as his exterior is slipping away)

Oh man, I love this guy. He’s pretty twisted.
