“I’m sorry–” Riley paused, a hand going over her mouth, she could already taste the metallic filling her mouth, “but me and blood don’t do so well, and I’m going to vomit.” His face, the whole thing, her stomach was rising. “Very noble story, but like, can you please clean your face?” 

Sutter took the cloth from his pocket, wiping his face. The cuts burned, but they probably would not bleed again. He could feel the depth of the cut and knew it would end with a beautiful scar. He put the cloth back in his pocket, looking at the girl, "I'm sorry darlin’, sometimes I forget that not everyone gets along well with blood. I don’ blame you, wasn’ a good scene to watch"

The girl was right, his shirt was a mess. With many bloodstains he could not tell if it was his or the blood of the guy he fought with, "Well darlin’ I don’ know if I killed him, but he's going to be unconscious for a few hours. Probably the police will appear at my door for tomorrow" Sutter smiled and lit his cigarette, offering the box to the girl.

Feeling the excitement in her voice reminded him of when he was younger and was in his first fight, "I can’ describe the feeling, you'll find out after your first fight. Sutter lifted his shirt showing her the scars, "As you can see, I've bee’ in so many fights that I can’ even count, some in a group, others alone.I can get hurt, but I never lose a fight"

He couldn’t help the way he was gawking at the man, fascinated at the cuts strewn across his face, imagining how the fight must have gone down. “But you’re hurt,” he remarked, unsure of what he really was trying to say, if he was offering to tend to his wounds or to help take him to the nearest clinic or if he was just saying things out loud in observation. He knew how short Sutter’s temper could be, and they never really got along well in the past— still, he was holding out hope that perhaps the man could be a little more accommodating this time.

Case had been one of the first people he met when he arrived in Lanford, they didn’t get along right away. Something about the man's personality bothered Sutter deeply, and he could not handle the shit coming out of his mouth. With a sigh, he rolled his eyes, "Well, we have a Sherlock here." Sutter could feel Case's eyes on him, it was one of the things that irritated him most, he didn’t like to be stared at, "You're going keep starin’  like a psycho? It's just blood, man"

Sutter held the child, still trying to assimilate the story. He did not totally trust that man, it might all be a fabricated story, but since was about a child, he tried to help, "You didn’ even asked the woman’s name? It's a kid, man, it's serious business. I think we should call the police, They will know what to do. The woman may have stolen the baby and given it to you or even worse”

He thought for a few minutes, had never been very good with gifts, "Well, my parents died when I was eight, so it's kind of hard to put myself in your place, but if I had to choose, I'd buy somethin’ that was related to a new beginnin’, such as a trip, buy him a ticket to a place he can meet for the first time"

It wouldn’ be exactly a sacrifice" Sutter looked back at the girl, holding her hand, "If we're going to do it, we have to do it right , I've seen that kind of fella before and I must say they don’ give up easily" He pulled the chair up so she would sit next to him at the bar, offering her his drink,"Name’s Sutter, and by what looks like, we are dating for a few hours” A smirk crossing his face “Time to start to know eachother"

He pulled her onto his lap, kissing her face a few times. "You know me, you know I always know about the best events. I tell you what,  it looks like there's going to be a motorcycle race in a city a few hours from here, I thought it would be nice if we participated. Not only for a million dollars, but for the pleasure of winning from you” He smiled, taking a serious look some time later, "I’m the one who needs to be distracted. I can' sleep properly, whenever I fall asleep. memories of those months come back, it's instantaneous.I think the medicines isn’ working very well" Sutter pressed his forehead to Harley's shoulder, eyes closed. He would like to forget everything that had happened in that mission, but he knew that some brands are forever. His fatalistic side always told him that it had to happen, and he needed to learn from it

It wasn’t often that she smoked, in fact she hadn’t had a cigarette for a fair few months now, but she was stressed and she needed to calm herself down. A walk hadn’t much worked. “Libby. "Guilty. I'm new to town, I came from Virginia a few months ago" A few years ago he would never imagine leaving Emporia, he liked the city, had been raised there. It was hard to fit a new city, and he spent most of his time alone, but he was not complaining, "Are you native  or came from somewhere else?"

He put his hand in his pocket, took out a cigarette and  put in the woman's mouth, lighting it "I don’ usually share my cigarettes, but I have to pay for my sins" Sutter gave a smirk and watched the woman for a few seconds . She looked bothered by something, even though she didn’t wanted to let it in, "Name's Sutter, how should I call you, doll?"

Eliza furrowed her brow when she glanced at the woman who seemed shocked by his words, and in truth, Eliza was a little surprised by them as well. “Hey,” the brunette said with a slight scoff on her lips. “That’s not really nice. They were lost, or perhaps simply turned around by the unfamiliar buildings. Hand resting upon their stomach for a moment at the acidic smell which reached their nose, crude oil maybe—they looked around but couldn’t place it, the sudden voice pulling their attentions to the side, and a small jump to their shoulders, “Sorry,” Al would offer, “Seems like I’m lost, if you could give me directions I’ll get out of your hair?”

He looked at her. The woman was serious, and judging by the hand in her stomach, either she was pregnant or she didn’t feel well, "We are in the North End. Where do you wan’ to go? I can go with you, some parts of the neighborhood can be dangerous, specially for a woman"
