2017

After a very busy end-of-2016, this new year has provided more time for introspection. I caught up on every series, documentary, and film from the recent past; went into a rabbit hole of current events and politics; spent some time working on Geri and practiced Spanish(duolingo!).

Also! Jake and I went to Orcas Island and San Juan Island. It was quite cold and the van wasn't running *great* - it was still worth it. We camped at Moran State Park where Cain presumably climbed to the top of Mt Constitution whilst Jake and I looked for him for an hour. We also went to the mystical Doe Bay. Something about a oceanside outdoor hot tub -to- cold river dip -to- hot tub -to- sauna ....I can't quite put the words to it.                                           It's nice. 

With the start of the year bring a new era. Now that we are living an upside-down reality- it is important to consider the quality of the light and the power of a photon.
