UPDATE:
Heres a preview from a model i’m working on. Inspired by that last sketch i posted.
ILLUSTRATION:
2 ruff sketched character designs for a game.
Tech art:
“Digital Face”
I wanted to see how a digital reimagined version of my face looks like, And if it has some similarities with my own. This digital face comes from characters I have created in games that has a character creator in it (see picture documentation). The characters portraits then goes through a "morphing" sequence that creates a single face, based on the information the images have. By analyzing the characters, I can see more of myself in their own features. What significance has it that I have selected a female or a black character or one that isn't a human being? Are they who I strive to imitate or be like?
Alle faces to the left are from various video games. thay a alle Then morphed into one (Digital face). And morphed again with my real face, to create the "True face".
STUDY:
Anatomy study of an old man. I did this in zbrush a while back.
UPDATE:
I am done with the high poly model on this guy, without armor, strid out of Zbrush. Now on to retopology.
OLD:
This was my third year examens project where we had to use all that we had learned up til now. For this i made a high poly model and baked it down to low poly, and rigging to pose the character.
OLD:
This was an examens project at 3D college back in 2012. The theme had to be related to robots, else we had free rein to make what we wanted. The idea for the story was to se what will happen after the story of pinocchio, and it gets a more darker tone.
