i feel the urge to have a complete rebrand the moment i enter uni/college but rlly it’s just a disguise and i’m the same girl from high school just in a different school setting. i think many ppl go through this phase where they enter a big change in lifestyle and believe they should change too when rlly it’s a lot of work and never easy. im not sure what journaling or buying expensive makeup will do for me but i still hope and pray that it will affect something and magically make me happy and better. true healing will come when the realization will hit hard and fast that it’s more than a few lifestyle changes and it’s also a lot of internal work and therapy and forgiveness of yourself and others. i think it’s very scary but very necessary and you have to face it head on or else you will carry it with you for the rest of your life.
