Fanon is now allowed on the new Drawn to Life Wiki!
Hey Everyone! Fanon is now allowed on the DtL wiki! This includes anything from fan character pages, to theories, AUs, fanart, fanfiction, and more.
Starting a fan page is easy: Simply create a new page under the Fanon namespace, fill it with whatever you like, and hit publish! There really aren't that many limits as long as it relates to Drawn to Life somehow! Don't be afraid of getting started! Nothing has to be perfect, and everything can be fixed or restored later. Fanon pages are for you and can be formatted however you like.
We hope this will be the easiest place to share and discover other Drawn to Life related fanworks. In the past, fan-content used to be allowed on the Wiki, delegated only to User pages. However, this limited contributions to site members only, and made it difficult to share and discover other works as User pages are not indexed in search.
As part of this change, we have a brand new "Fanon" namespace (basically a new category on the Wiki) just for fan content. Pages in this namespace are automatically indexed and contain the appropriate non-canon warnings, just in case there's any concern about non-canon material being taken as fact.
Finally, we're slowly adding a new "Fan Works" section to the bottom of some canon articles. This section will serve as a means of discovering other works that may relate to the main article's topic. If you have a fan work that relates to a canon article, feel free to expand the list within the "Fan Works" section of that page!
Overall, it's easier than ever to add and share your fan creations on the Wiki, and we can't wait to see all of your ideas! If you have any questions, please ask!
