This morning the earliest version of a song I’ve been working on for over a year leaked to the Internet. That song being my cover of “These days”, written by Jackson Browne most famously preformed by Nico, with Drake. If you follow me you’ll know this song had been on its way for a long time as I posted the art in the fall of last year. You’ll know I’ve been working on this to make it perfect. It really sucks when things like this happen because this song is something I put a lot of heart and soul into and it means the world to me. These days is my favorite song, it captures me fully as a person. I shared the song with Drake for that reason-because he had never heard the song beforehand and he also really connected with it. It was really cool because he’s someone I admire from every aspect and for him to understand why I love this song and for him to love it too meant so much to me. That’s how this cover came to life, two musicians who connected on a song of the past that resonates with so many people no matter the era.
