Little man may not know what to think of his spoon. Or his high chair. Or his rice cereal. But he knows the spoon goes in his mouth (even if he can’t quite get it there) and seems to like the taste! Okay, so let’s try this again...

So. I’ve been trying to start a blog for years. Actual years. Like, since high school. I’m now 25, have graduated high school (2010), college (2015…I took a victory lap ;), gotten engaged (2013), got a puppy (2014), got married (2016), started graduate school (2016), and had a baby (2017). 

Apparently, the perfect time to start a blog is when you’re a stay at home mom with a 4-month-old baby? Frankly, I just need some adult social interaction outside of my family.

So that’s how we got here.

Basically, this is going to be an outlet for the inner workings of my conscious (and subconscious…Psych majors, anyone?) which will subsequently include lots of photos of my baby and dog, and probably my husband too ;) so If you’re not on board with that, feel free to unfollow me.

 More importantly, there will also be biblical truths, theological quotes, and maybe a few rants because I love Jesus Christ. And for that, I hope you don’t unfollow. Because the bible has a lot to say and things that can help in every situation, and I hope to facilitate a conversation that challenges you and brings you closer to Christ.

We’ll see how this blog thing goes. But I pray that I can make a difference. I also pray that this blog will be a way to help keep me accountable to do the good not only that I WANT to do, but that I MUST do. 

I’d love to get to know you. And I truly, absolutely mean that will all my heart. I hope, through all this, you get to know me as well. So join me on this journey.

Kevin, Hudson, and I went to the Riverbank Zoo with Nana and Papa today! Hudson loved the fish, the alpaca, and the sea lions and seals.
