Alright, I can do that. Although it may not me necessarily exciting because I have not done a ton of exploring either. I will need to drop my bag off inside before we head out though.

[chuckles] Considering it was my idea in the first place, I was going to insist on paying anyway. Especially since it is your birthday.

Do ya have somewhere specific ya want to go or something ya want to go do?

[shrugs, taking a moment to inhale from his cig] It matters to me but I shouldn’t expect it t’matter to anyone else. I just…well…naw. It’s…kinda private. [smiles apologetically] I don’t want ya lookin’ at me a certain way.

Hey, I’m not going to pester ya to open up to me about it if ya don’t want to. Although I do think ya might not be giving me enough credit. [he shrugs and gives a small smile] Full disclosure though, I thought I heard ya say something about a birthday as I was coming home so I can make a guess. But I really came over here so we could talk again and catch up since I enjoyed the last time we did that.

[shifts over, silently accepting his invitation with out actually admitting he wanted the company] Ya know, just foolishness over somethin’ that doesn’t matter a lick in the end so I shouldn’t get too invested.

[he takes the silent invitation and sets his bag down before sitting next to him] It matters to ya though. I’m not going to press too much but... it seems like a shame to write something like that off, ya know?
