Bringing this back out because we are on ✨Kit Watch✨ and a fun fact about this silly video is that Mama Raccoon was very much in labor at the time. That's how I knew where to stand for the shot: she was pacing back and forth for two hours.

Kit Watch 2026:

The 2025 kits have finally dispersed.

Only the Littlest Kit still comes around, but she's solo now. She is recognizable by her extraordinary curiosity, her sweet little face -- different from Mama's -- and that she's still smaller than all the others.

We've typically not seen new kits til July, but

This year Papa Raccoon showed up the first week of February, which is pretty unusual for us. Plus,

We're seeing the Littlest Kit far more often than Mama right now, which could mean Mama's tucked away with new bubs.
