as someone who survived cherrygate, lucas-blake casa drama, and a clown for suresh, i'm down for a dramatic plot where there's a rift between mc and li, and they can even break our hearts. BUT AT LEAST DO IT PROPERLY. drawn it out as long as cherrygate if you have to. so that we have time to process any change of heart of the characters, time to be hurt instead of being pushed back to a linear plot like everything is okay, and most importantly, time for the li to properly grovel and pine for us again.
