That lyric helped give me my sister back. In 2015 my sister started acting differently and not being her happy, loving self anymore. In March 2015 she was admitted to a hospital for depression and anxiety and she needed to be in a safe place cause she was having dark thoughts and was wanting to hurt herself. All these thoughts and actions because she had a secret she had been keeping and didn’t know if peole would accept : she’s gay. She thought people wouldn’t love her or accept her and would treat her terribly. All these fears came true when she went back to high school. People said things at school and the the school did nothing about it and my sister became not my sister again. We visited her, she made progress and eventually came home. It was hard because we felt like we had to walk on egg shells with her and the only thing we could do that made her let loose was listen to your music. Her and I would jam out to every song of yours until our throats hurt. Her tattoo is a reminder to her that people are mean and stomp on things that they dont like but also a reminder to never let it get to her and to keep on shining. So thank you @taylorswift for bringing my sister back to me, without you she wouldn’t be here with me now being her happy, crazy self.❤
