afends country. 2017
I really like the pop of colour the shirt gives to the image, which mostly contains muted colours. I also like how a caught the model of guard with her looking off to the side and fixing her hair, which gives off a relaxed feel in my opinion, instead of her just looking straight into the camera.

self portrait, 2017
I took this photo to convey a feeling of beauty but also show clear emotion. I also really like how colour coordinated the shot is with the makeup and clothing and even the rose gold earrings, basically being the same shade.
To take this I used a Canon 700d with 18-55mm lens on a tripod.
Babs, 2017
I took this image mainly because of how the lighting created, interesting shadows and shapes onto the model. I also choose out the models outfit to keep the image to a neutral and monochrome feel, to not overwhelm viewers.
To take this I used a Canon 700D with a 10-55mm lens.

These are some of the photos I used for my year 12 studio arts final artwork. I decided to take away the colour on these images, because I feel that it gives off a more intimate and vulnerable feel, which I wanted my artworks to convey.
To take these I used a Canon Mark iii 5D, with a Canon 50mm 1.2L lens
roses in the afternoon, 2017
This image was taken at the start of the year, near the end of summer. I like the angle of which the sunlight is coming in of the roses, giving them a more golden feel. I also like how I made sure it’s mostly focused in on the roses that are still in blood, rather then the dead ones.

6am wake ups are sometimes worth it
These were taken at chance, with me wanting to catch a beautiful sunrise. I really like the colours in this and the interesting shapes of the clouds. I liked the composition of them with the treetops popping up, but don’t take over.

red ice, 2016
I like how up close and personal, this image feels. I like how this imagine gives off a nostalgia of hot summer days as a kid having icy poles, but is now seen in a more sexual way because of subject matter just being a close up of the mouth.

chapel street sign, 2016
I like how simple this image is and also the muted colours. With the sky just being a consistent grey, to the lil pops of colour on the signs which give the image life.
