OK I suppose I could say a little more... Did I ever even mention that i'm working a new job? Same parent company, same job as a CNA but working home health instead of in a facility? Got a decent pay raise recently as well, although then I found out there are now starting CNAs at the LTC care facility I left at what took me 4 years to make. I started at $10/hour at the beginning of 2022. At the beginning of this year with my annual raise I made it to $20/hour. I had been making $18. Now they are starting CNAs at $18. Doesn't feel right, but what can I do? I don't want to go back to being a floor CNA and I especially don't want to work 12 hour shifts on the floor.

Paid off the camper last fall though, so at least it's mine. Cooper passed away about 10 days later, which broke my heart completely. Megan is now living with her dad so it's just me and Gracie at home. And Minuet the cat. Who has now decided that she loves me, so long as there are no evil doggies in the house.

I gave up on college. I don't have what it takes and I'm out of financial aid anyways. I tried and tried but just cant get there. It's just not for me I guess.

So I am just out here working and going home, trying to be ok. Still depressed, but still trying.

I don't understand how cis people obsessed with gender norms think trans people are the weird ones. they're going around believing that your name has to correlate to your genitals. your fashion has to correlate to your genitals. your behaviours have to correlate to your genitals. your hobbies have to correlate to your genitals. who you date has to correlate to your genitals. whether you can put sparkles on your eyelids or not has to correlate to your genitals. and then people like me go "hmm. I might not do that. maybe I'll just do what feels fun and okay instead" and they LOSE their MINDS

i'm still alive, more or less. still depressed, still struggling with life. I suppose that's just the way that it is. I go to work, and come home and I'm in mom mode. I'm not seeing anyone, and at this point I can say I don't have any friends here anymore. I'm just existing, watching the world fall apart, trying to stay alive for my girls' sake.

I do really think that the use of ChatGPT and genAI by students highlights the fundamental flaw of our education system focusing almost entirely on grades and test scores rather than generating curiosity and inquiry, which produces individuals who fundamentally do not understand that the purpose of an assignment is meant to be to learn *how* to do something, not simply to produce a product you can turn in to get an A+
