"I like to think so. He and Miss Madeline go back a long time. They are very important to each other." He smiled warmly. There were so many people who thought of Madeline that way. She was a beloved friend to a lot of people. "Absolutely. And I can give you my number so if you have any questions, you could send me a text." He nodded. "I can absolutely believe that it's a huge mental load. I think a lot of people feel like Switches are lucky and don't see the extra decisions that the mark inherently poses."
"I like that, I want Nate to have the kind of friends he deserves," Connor said softly, glad that Nate had that. "Oh, you don't have to go out of your way like that," he said instinctively, not wanting to be a burden especially to someone that Nate admired. "I'd appreciate it though," he admitted.
