Sick of tourists, so we took a walk away from all of them.
A man reads about his own loneliness.
As expected – as did my friends suggested – Soho is my favorite spot in London. I mean, c’mon, what’s not to love about this place?
Vientiane surprised me with its streets alive with lights – but not so much the excess of cars, people, the usual things.
It's hard to understand, but the touch of your hand can start me crying.
But, darling, what can I do?
For you don't love me, and I'll always be crying over you.
On the last day of 2015, I spent the entire final afternoon with Zy, my go-to muse, to shoot something wherever our feet could take us, around the city I’ve come to fall in love with and would hate to leave, Bangkok.
Taking photos of Shintaro taking photos of me somewhere in Bangkok sometime in August this year.
My first afternoon walking around in Berlin I found myself half-spying these people I randomly passed by on the unforgivably cold streets.
Somewhere here, your memory.
This is Don, some years ago at Route 196.
Film photography by Lee Cepeda, Brian Sulicipan, and Petersen Vargas for Lisyun qng Geografia (Geography Lessons, 2014).
Starring Earl Policarpio, around the streets of Balibago.
I can’t get over Anawangin’s beauty.
It feels embarrassing to be taking photos of myself but I couldn't handle the beauty of this place, no. I just had to.
There is something crummy about the way the sunlit boy hit the cold water, losing his shadow into the water, collapsing underneath its surface.
"I felt very sad."
"I felt like there should be the two of us standing there."
The first week of August: reuniting with a friend who got back from Cebu, a rather more mature birthday gift (a set of plates, forks, and spoons, some bowls, some mugs), spending time with Ziggy in ZS Clothiers (aka his lovely house, with our friends), spending time with Jade in the movies, my first Shoestring shoot with Direk Edber (where Zy tags along to shoot behind-the-scenes photographs), post-Cinemalaya sightings, activities.
Ziggy Savella, May–August 2014.
