Why read your Bible tomorrow morning?

You cannot love God, and not listen to him.

Your faith needs promises to survive.

We become like what we behold.

You will only find the joy you want in words.

Let me tell you, if you are struggling and losing hope. Cling to God because He will pull you through. I know that He will. You aren’t through and your time isn’t up. I don’t care what he said or she said or they said. God. Is. Not. Through. With. You. And you are called to do great things. You are called by God. The only thing you have to do is accept Jesus and accept the call. Watch your life change when you do this!

This season has been one of the hardest. I’ve fallen a lot, and I’ve acted like a child throwing a temper tantrum. It’s been long, with no end in sight…and yet, as painful and frustrating as it has beeen, I’m thankful. It’s still difficult and I’m still struggling, but I’ve learned how important God is to me and how desperately I need Him.

I’ve learned that even my good desires and intentions can become idols if I let them. I’m realizing more and more that this life isn’t about me. I wasn’t given this life so I could live it comfortably, within my own definition of happiness. Jesus is more important to me than my own happiness. This life is only temporary, after all.

I’m learning how important it is to keep my eyes on God and on eternity. It’s all about His glory, not mine. I can’t do this on my own. It’s not about being perfect, but allowing the Perfect One to live through me. That is more important to me than anything else.

Jesus is more important to me than anything else. I pray my life begins and ends on that one precious, wild fact.

Repenting doesn’t mean saying you’re sorry to God and then feeling really bad about what you did and trying to make up for it. Repenting means admitting what you did was wrong and then giving it up to follow God again, knowing how much He loves you and wants the best for you.

Following God isn’t about feeling guilty!
