I still need to watch even more POVs of Pantheon but I wanted to share my thoughts on Sausage and Pearls character dynamic and some of the cool details!
First things first, small explanation time! They are often called Arena duo as these two have built Multiple arenas across smps together. Also Wither rose alliance is from Empires Season 1 and a reference to Pearl, Sausage, Gem, and fWhip!!

Also got silly with the writing and its less ramblings and more a retelling of the events combining their episode povs??
Also these two are 'do you think we are friends in every universe' to me, so this is very much platonic to me but you do you if you see something else.
They arrive next to each other and it's like fate. The champion of Nyx and champion of Hermes. One who loves the night and the other who knows the shadows well. Both have their own wishes, yet they quickly bond. Ones wish is to save his brother who tried to save him, the others wish may bring the world into chaos. Each has their own goals.
All the champions have died but some remember their deaths more than others. Sausage seems to vividly remember while Pearl does not, or at least says such...
They fight together, train, ready to do what they must to survive. Yet the champions of Morpheus and Chronos have also caught their attention. Nyx and Morpheus are connected and Chronos has blessed his champion with impressive powers. People to possibly rely on, or possibly stab... Each holds a feather.
Pearl seems eager while Sausage has only killed on accident while trying to get away. Pearl doesn't need the arena, just wanting to playfully stab. Both however find joy when they see the night sky.
Sausage tells Pearl about his past, how he lived in the dark. A basement and no wealth. He tells her "It worked out in the end. I do like the night sky." Pearl however questions him asking "I mean, you're here. Are you sure it worked out?" Sausage pauses before answering "You're right."
The champions test abilities and Sausage appears in front of Pearl. "I'm glad you came to me." and when Pearl left the crowded group he follows. He does not see her power as dulling, he sees something else.
The two look at the arena together. Pearl ready to duel now but Sausage hesitates yet he grips his blade. Now is not the time, but later? One day they may fight within its walls and entertain those who watch them. Will they both find joy in such a battle, could it almost feel nostalgic?
The longer they spend together the more they learn about the other. One focuses on the past the other on what's happening now. It's not surprising when the thief begins to grow accustomed to the darkness of his new friend. Reminding him of where he came from.
Sausage calls her attention when it darkens knowing how she enjoys it, something they have in common. Pearl watches him fly above the others, wings on his boots taking him high into the sky. They both have blessings from their gods that fit them well.
Pearl learns that he is going by a nickname and not his true name. Sausage was something his brother called him. He sounded hurt when others laughed. When others dislike her darkness Sausage finds comfort saying that they should enjoy it as well. They stand up for each other, they understand.
The bridge will be their home and Pearl shows what she can do. Playing with Drift in a way that even makes Sausage excited for violence. Sausage asks Pearl to use her power on him. This confused her at first though she does so, letting him enjoy the darkness. Sausage gives her a flower, but it emits light. He notes her dislike of it and finds one that feels right. One that is dark and prickly, a wither rose, and this one she accepts gratefully so he gets her three more.
Sausage watches as Pearl goes to investigate the blessing of Zeus. She is not scared but Sausage follows, declaring he will be there if anything goes wrong. She would not need him yet thanks him. In order to survive you must make closer bonds, but a friend to all is a friend to no one. Pearl takes the blessing from Zeus as a gift from his champion, in exchange he asks for her to fight Nobody within the arena.
It's time to battle for the entertainment of gods, two must be chosen and then fight. Each champion has reasons for who they pick. In the end champions of Artemis and Nyx are chosen and fight after all. Night falls and Pearl is in her element.
Nikos and Sausage cheer her on from the stands having offered her power as Pearl circles her opponent. Arrows rain from the sky and the other attempts to flee. She laughs and enjoys herself, calling to the darkness, pleasant, warm, cozy even. Comforting to those who let it consume.
Pearl wins and she can hear congratulations from above as she asks who is ready to duel her next. No one is willing as they find her terrifying. Though Sausage compliments the darkness and both agree they are glad they can call each other a friend.
Aka I'm loving the vibes of these two!! Also love the Feather holders as a whole and so so excited to watch lots more povs! It's really fun to see what some cut and others leave in! Gives you a bigger picture hehehe
But ya my main thing is we dont know Pearls wish yet but we know Sausage wish. "And I know now what I must do. I just have to survive... so that my brother can live. Whatever it takes."
Also not over him being able to get Hermes as his champion, make a bannerfall reference with the pin design, get arena duo crumbs, and wither rose alliance ref by giving her 4 of them total! This man and his nods to past series. Very clever.
Meet the character I will be playing in the upcoming MCRP story "Not Quite Human"! I'm so excited to be part of the project following Decayed and Decrepit, and I'm excited that I get to play alongside friends as well!! I can't wait :D
