My first completed piece via Clip Studio Paint Pro! I basically jumped ship on the Yuri piece because I couldn’t bring myself to ruin my favorite character with my lack of 3d mastery lol aka “I’M RUINING HIS FACE QAQ” I learned a lot from this piece in terms of working with the program but there’s still tons more to learn about this program. I guess the giant pool of customization is why so many like it. The best discovery was that airbrush comes with highlight and shadow brushes! I don’t have to keep clicking around to find colors anymore XD I didn’t bother with looking up references for the most part, but instead focused on trying to draw a damn straight line LOL! Tablets are so different~ but I really enjoyed this piece.  I like to have a playlist on repeat when I’m drawing to help me focus on what feel I’m going for. ^^

The face is definitely my favorite part to draw, and I've been trying to look closely at the shading to make a face more 3d. It's not easy, but airbrush is definitely my best friend for this stuff. Also references (ahaha my Google history...) I think I'm getting better at this software. Every tutorial helps.

Wanted to practice a bit and I was REALLY itching to draw my FAVORITE character from Yuri on Ice! I just started watching last night. Teehee <3 I had hoped to just surprise everyone with the finished piece but turns out it is going to take me a lot longer to get used to this software and tablet. @_@ but it will be worth it in the long run to learn it well now. ^ _^)b

Who's your favorite trainer?

Sylvie. jk jk. Probably Green from the Pokemon Adventures manga. I’m certainly bias because that’s who my bf roleplayed as, but when I read the manga to get a little more content on her personality, it’s just so funny how she’s outsmarting Red and Blue so often. They would run headfirst into a situation and she would just float on her jigglypuff like she’s just there for the show haha. But otherwise, I really didn’t pay much attention to trainers tbh. When I’d play the games, I would play it to raise my favorite pokemon to level 100, then when we got pokemon Amie, I also played it to get a ton of pokepuffs and just play with my pokemon. I watched Pokemon a lot as a kid but a favorite trainer doesn’t come to mind. :p
