what started off as wanting to experiment with sukuna's face kinda ended with a painting and a sketch page xD

more ramblings and the original sketch page under the cut

tbh, i still kinda feel like i went a little overboard on the background dots of the original paint (bottom) then i got the idea to drop it into a sketch page (above) so drew the rest of the sketches and had some fun placing all the dots x3 (also, i'll admit.. most of these were sketched in a haze💦)

i kinda used ludwig, the accursed as a little bit of a reference, and combined that with sukuna's features and my swirly watercolor style for the painting part (which i feel like at this point may be the closest thing i'll get to that painting of ludwig i've been wanting to do ever since i first saw his design =_=;;;). i realize, as far as his body in the rest of the sketches, i probably could've gotten more wild with it given what i did for the portrait.. but i also just wanted to practice his figure more since i'm less confident in it than i am his face 😅 it's definitely something i'd revisit in the future tho!

also, speaking of mashing him with bloodborne characters.. i was watching elden ring challenge runs while i was laying in the dots and had the idea of doing a mohg!sukuna. (not sure when i'll get to that but hey x"D)
