The sun rose once more, and I lived to see it.
Everything seems so small and simple now.
You have to forgive yourself
ohhh trauma anniversaries are so silly
like yay confetti for that time that something awful happened and now i cant function for the rest of this month
Nonhuman expressions of affection are great. Purring. Exposing weak points as a show of trust. Head bonks. Preening and chewing. Nuzzling. Biting. Intertwining tails. Feeding each other. Little chuffs, chatters, beeps and squeaks. Fluffing up of feathers, fur or other things. Dancing to impress. Cleaning their fur, scales, feathers or skin. Sharing body heat. Ears pointing toward those you care about to show your full attention is on them. Slow blinking.
a reminder that the host isn’t the only person in the system who should be respected and made to feel comfortable.
the host is not ‘the important part’, we are all completely conscious and capable of our own thoughts, feelings and our own boundaries. our brain created us because it decided that we are all important and needed.
the host is not the only member of a system you should care about.
need a polite way to say "im not engaging in a discussion on this topic with you because the conclusions you have reached are based on so many interwoven layers of misconceptions it would be easier to just like, hard reset your whole brain, just start over as a baby and try again"
Gentle reminder that switches don’t have to be sudden, complete or quick. Switches can happen without notice, take long times, or happen in quick successions. Switching between members is not a cut and dry process between all systems—we are all different and experience things differently. Some switching tools may not work for you, or for others, please avoid pressuring others to use things like proxies or sign offs.
If you don't believe people about their *Medical information* without seeing their medical records, you're just a fucking idiot.
Cause that's what people's mental illnesses are. Medical information.
Imagine going "erm you don't have a cold unless I see your doctors note"
What are you a school trying to call truancy on a sick kid?
Actually yes. Yes you are.
wanna remind that endos stole term systemhopping from ramcoa systems
doesnt mean what endos made mean
means moving thru subsystems, sidesystems and layers that r heavy separated or in case of subsystem which is system within an alter.. moving to that
so say systemhopping isnt a thing harms ramcoa systems and takes our language. lets endos take our language
they demeaned everything from all systems. stop letting them.
Endos arent a part of syspunk bcause ableism isnt punk
Anyway normalize stutters, stilted speech, flat affect, monotone speech, volume control issues, nonverbal communication devices, voice modulators, speech impediments, lisps, oral deformities.
Normalize "abnormal" speech patterns. Normalize lack of eye contact, normalize ticking, normalize emphasis on different syllables. Normalize "Inappropriate" emoting, especially when it's a stress response.
Normalize verbally processing thoughts, external system communication, non- aggressive interaction with hallucinations or delusions.
Normalize Echolalia, "TV Talking", vocal stimming, parroting, "Baby talk" as a way to self soothe.
You're a proud member of a hate group, how does it feel to deny science and professionals who have said time and time again that you and all the other anti-endos are WRONG?
There is so much problems with this anon ask I'm just left speechless
lmao "deny science and professionals" as if the term "endogenic" wasnt rooted in denying science and the community doesnt throw a fit when told "endogenic plurality" isnt recognized by any psychiatry professional worth their salt
it's kills me that systems think they are faking or lying because they haven't had other alters front in a while, headspace has been silent, your communication is down, and overall just "feeling like a singlet"
because number 1, cdds have more symptoms than just alters, number 2 it's a covert disorder, and number 3, you are an alter!
no one experiences the same level of their symptoms for any of their disorders every day.
if my avoidance to food due to arfid is more noticeable some days, why is it different for having alters in osddid?
cdds are covert disorders. they will try and hide your symptoms because it's the whole point of their existence. don't blame yourself for a survival mechanism your brain created to protect you!
and I see so many people forget this, especially hosts, but you're an alter! if someone else doesn't front, that doesn't suddenly make you a singlet because you are still part of a system
you can make mistakes or be wrong, but don't fakeclaim or feed yourself misinformation in order to realise that!
one thing I keep seeing is how systems with fearmonger newly discovered systems into not interacting with the online osddid community, which is stupid.
even if you think that there is a lot of misinformation online about the disorders, which I'm not gonna argue against, you're still assuming what that newly discovered system is looking for.
maybe they're not looking for diagnostic criterias or to sift through their trauma.
they're probably looking for community and personal experiences they can relate to.
which is very obviously a common thing for someone who just realised they might have a disorder is looking for.
support. community. comfort.
when I see a newly discovered system online and they ask where they start on system spaces, advice like "don't look around online, just go to (insert medical website)" is not helpful to someone who needs genuine advice from people with experience in system communities.
so, here's my advice to newly discovered systems :
— you're going to get things wrong and make mistakes. it's inevitable, and it 100% happens to everyone, even if someone's been diagnosed for 10+ years. don't be scared to make mistakes, you miss every shot you don't take.
— if you suddenly don't feel like you're a system, your communication sucks, you are frontstuck/no one else is fronting, don't worry. cdds are covert disorders, their whole intention is to not be found. you're not a liar or faker because you don't experience some symptoms of a disorder.
— look at what is already largely accepted in medical spaces, don't immediately jump into controversial/conspiracy theories
— start off with safe spaces, trying to participate in discourse when you're uneducated isn't going to end well
— figure out what alters do first, in our case and many others, it's a lot easier to "work backwards" when you already have an idea of what role an alter fills in your system before you try to fully find out their identity
— don't get too stuck up on alter labels, if you're lost on what role an alter has or don't even know what a lot of roles are, just focus on what they do for your system (see above)
— ask questions, it's okay to ask "stupid/simple things", also see our blog @system-advice for that!
Pro endos should not use systempunk and syspunk tags

omg i never thought i would actually have to post this but endos + endo supporters do not interact. being plural is not a fun quirky personality trait, its a disorder that people struggle a lot with. its a disorder born from continuous, inescapable trauma in early childhood.
stop creeping your way into communities you do not belong in. stop promoting "flooding" system tags and spaces. let us please have ONE safe space, because i assure you the people with DID/OSDD in this community didnt have a safe space for a majority of our lives. we do not want you in our spaces, please and thank you.
fakeclaimer logic is so confusing sometimes
turns out Im not allowed to talk about being a system yall LMAO
