T23 is a group of young creatives who will release a series of one off t-shirts In April. Each t-shirt has its own political and cultural influences; these references are unique to each designer, but with one joined goal: to create t-shirts accessible to all walks of people, no matter their gender, age, size or sexuality. The t-shirts will be exclusively sold at The Camden Collective C/159 on 4th-10th April 2014.

'The concept for my photo shoot is based on self esteem and how people enchant their personality's using social media, which is seen as virtual spaces to make statements.'

'The concept for my shoot revolved around children today and how they are growing up to fast. How they enjoy pop culture but not being aware of the connotations of it! Children are trying to grow up as fast as they they can and aren't enjoying their youth due to the use of technology and social media that surrounds them. Children no longer have aspirations for jobs and careers that are unique interests to them, they feel being famous is the best way to be rich and happy!'

'The concept for my photo shoot was based around the topic Art influencing fashion. Bringing the person out of the art, using street art as background to reflect street style. Looking at the 80s and the club culture style of Bodymaps sporty fashion linked with art from that time, Keith Haring and Jean Michel Basquiat were huge inspirations for me when creating these images.'

'The key idea behind my photoshoot was the pressure on young girls to look a certain way online, how now if your not doing something worth instagraming there is no point doing it. But in actuality these people are unhappy by this pressure and so my photoshoot shows the side they are showcasing to the world isn’t actually what they are in real life. It was meant to look like an american high school photo which was also key in my styling.'

'Social and political issues fuel the way for fashion. The concept for my photo shoot was feminism, this forever controversial issue influenced my choice of styling and model. The future trends in menswear seem to go in very feminine directions — lace, metallic's, skirting, florals and pastels. All which are typically womenswear trends but were evidently pervasive in the latest menswear fashion shows. My aim for my photo shoot was to steer clear of my male model looking feminine or androgynous, I wanted to show that these trends are very well suited for the heterosexual man.'

'Tearing through the taboo of self esteem in the hope people will begin to embrace their individuality. Combining the use of still life and fashion photography, I focused of layering and textures. The diversity and uniqueness of the t-shirt is the main focus of the image, violating the elegant model beneath.'

'The concept for my shoot was a continuation of my original ideas around youth and social media, but this time was to show that even though teenagers generally get a bad rep and are always associated with trouble, drugs, drinking etc. in reality not all of them are involved with that scene, the majority are responsible enough to enjoy themselves, like they should, and can test their limits without going to far. Teenagers are meant to make mistakes and shouldn't be judged for it. Essentially, the kids are alright.'
