I have been absolutely pouring myself into my garden for the last ~2 weeks and I am so excited about all the plans I have..... Assuming they all work out the way I hope they will.

Ok so I think I am just about done with planting in my garden now. I do still have a bunch of flowers and herbs leftover that I'll do something with, and I'm gonna try to split my thyme plant that's out of control this year and put some of it in some other beds.... But im done planting veggies I think.

Ive been doing a ton of research about a tomato support technique called Florida Weaving, and I've never tried it before but I decided to just jump in with both feet and try it in a triangle formation with three tomato plants and three metal posts. In theory it should work but I can't really find very much online about anyone else trying it. Should be interesting! Also I'm hoping this bed fills in with flowers (I've planted a ton of seeds in the last week that haven't sprouted yet) and looks super lush in the near future. That's the goal.

This year my other garden bed has two zucchini plants, some low growing alyssum flowers, some intentional "weeds", a dramatically reduced amount of chives (seriously, it took me like 3 hours to pull like 90% of the chives in this bed last weekend! They were really out of control. I wish I would've taken before photos), and also some more scattered flower seeds that haven't sprouted yet. I'm gonna see if I can do the vertical method with the zucchini on the cattle panel trellis this year. We'll see!

I never got to talk to my uncle about amyl and the sniffers! The playlist I made him in summer 2024 (right around the time he was diagnosed) had a few of their songs on it, and we briefly chitchatted about the playlist in general a few days after I sent it to him but obviously he had a lot of other things on his mind........ I was really looking forward to having a real conversation with him about this band at some point.:/ I really think he would've loved them and I wonder if he ever did actually look up more of their songs after my playlist lol

I also just remembered that he was the only person who realized and took care of my stupid ass after one of the absolute first times I'd ever gotten drunk, at my (other) aunt's house on 4th of July when I was 14 🫡 honestly he was such a good guy. I'm gonna miss him so much

Today my cat told me that if I burn all of my worldly possessions and commit to only eating freshly hunted small critters and sleeping in garden dirt every night that I probably won't be depressed anymore. Probably.

I just got prescribed it today and Ive never heard of it before but youre telling me that it's both an h1 histamine blocker AND an anti anxiety medication? Because I notoriously have a lot of issues with both histamines and anxiety. You're telling me that there is a medication that is supposed to treat BOTH at the same time?????
