Hey! You’re not active here anymore so you’ll probably never see this, but if you do:

I apologize that in our friendship, I mistreated you. Obviously a terrible cascade of mistakes ended up being too much, but I just wanted to say I’m sorry. I never intended for things to go the way they did, but I understand now, foolishly after all this time, that my hand had more of a doing in it than I’d like to admit. For how all of it ended. I’m old enough now to admit I was a bad friend, and I had a victim mentality for a long time. I framed everything as if I did no wrong, but when enough people tell you that you have a problem? Well the common denominator becomes clear.

I don’t know if we’ll ever be friends again, though I do miss you dearly. I feel like maybe that ship sailed, but if you ever do feel like giving me another chance I would be eternally grateful. If not? I respect that just as much.

Love ya, pip, in the way an old friend does. I once sent you a tiktok that said “And if the day should ever come that we are not together, you will continue to shine like gold in my memories.” So I’m sorry, terribly, regretfully, sorry; Sorry that I let that gold get corrupted and didn’t continue to have it shine. But it shines again, the good days are more common than the bad.
