Hey are you okay? I’m just concern

Me? The Mod who runs this blog? I’m fine outside of the occasional anxiety issues.

This blog? It’s kind of in an infinite Hiatus. I just haven’t have the stamina to run an ask blog where I have to draw and put a lot of effort into it. Life’s just been busy, I’m still trying to get through college, and I have a job now. So when I have time to draw it’s for the ideas I really want to draw, stuff for friends, or for things that aren’t as time consuming.

Would I like to get back to this blog? Of course. I still love Fire Emblem and both Robins are still some of my favorite characters in the series that are very dear to me. But drawing for this blog again is not in the foreseeable future. I may try and revive it, or try drawing for it when I have inspiration but I don’t know when that will happen. So that’s why the status is ‘infinite hiatus’ instead of ‘dead/ended’

I’m still drawing and if you want to see more of my recent work you can see it over on my art blog @pure-resonance. And I’ve been running another FE blog for around 2 years now. HI THIS BLOG ISN’T DEAD I SWEAR

So I be you’ve all be wondering what happened to this blog and why I haven’t updated it in months. The answer? Life, Stress, Other projects, the fact I’ve been on an binge of playing different fire emblem games for months.

This blog kind of took an unexpected hiatus, sorry about that and the fact I didn’t say anything about that until now.

Will I update this blog again? Yes, but I can’t give an exact date. I still love Robin and I don’t want to stop drawing them for this blog but I’m not sure how absorbed I’ll be in Fire Emblem Fates in the coming weeks. HOPEFULLY at the latest, I’ll have an update sometime in mid-March. I’ll be aiming to update this blog sooner than that but I can’t make promises. This blog takes more effort to update than another FE blog I run, but I do want to get back to weekly updates on this blog.

Thank you all for sticking with this blog during the long silence, and if some change in plans occurs then I will let you guys know sooner!

So this is a little overdue but I’m finally making a post about this. A little explanation post about why this blog has been quiet for a while.

What happened to this blog?

I made a post about this here a month or two ago. The TL;DR version of it is: After the semi-hiatus in May, Tumblr started becoming draining for me to be on and I tried taking a break. Thus causing this blog’s update schedule to be messed up.

Why did this blog not update when it was said the activity would be sporadic during your break?

Because shortly after this break there was a weekend where my laptop decided to have problems and this caused issues for a few days until i figured out how to fix it. (Windows 8 sucks, don’t use it.) This also killed my motivation for a while due to how much stress it caused me.

Will this blog be getting back on schedule?

Yes, but probably not for at least two more weeks. Reason? I want to create a buffer for the questions I have in the inbox currently. Plus I have a few things to draw outside of this blog either for other people or for personal reasons and this will help me manage my time better. In the long run, it’ll take a lot off my stress levels.

Hey, sorry about making this post so soon after this blog got of hiatus a month ago but. I’m taking a personal break from tumblr, it’s draining me, so I’m going to be on less. While this blog only updates once a week, I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to keep the update schedule. So I’m going to say this: This blog is NOT going on hiatus again, but there will not be an update schedule anymore.

Instead this blog will be on ‘it updates when i finish drawing it’ schedule, it’ll be sporadic with updates, so you might get multiple a week or you might get one every two weeks. I can’t say for sure, all I can really say is it all depends on my mental and physical health, but I don’t want to stop working on this blog because I like doing this for you guys and I like drawing Robin a lot.

You’ll get that late father’s day drawing this weekend, but after that this will take affect.

Now for one more thing. I know the male version of Robin appears in fe14, I’m not sure the exact details on how his appearance works, but please don’t send anything fe14 related to this blog. I’m trying to remain as blind to fe14 spoilers as I can until the US release date.

Style help with Answer pictures

OK SO FOR THIS WEEKS UPDATE. Before I get back to having the Robins answer questions, I wanted to do this. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while but I never got the chance to.

I want you guys all to pick out the art style I should use for answering questions. Here are a few examples of styles I am willing to do for this blog, please keep in mind that the style I use for special holiday pictures (like the picture for morgan’s birthday) WILL NOT BE USED because it takes so long for me to shade that way. I’m a slow artist so the styles you see here are all you get to choose from

The styles are listed from which is the quickest for me to draw to the slowest. Style G. is the current style I’ve been using for answers for a while, and style B. is what I’ve been using for quick update doodles if something comes up and I can’t post an answer.

I’d appreciate if you can answer this and give me a style that I should use, depending on the style chosen I MIGHT be able to post more updates than once a week.

So please just give me an answer on this post or send something into the ask box. Which would you like to see? Styles A, B, C, D, E, F, or G?

Finally finished this wip. Based off this prompt, and a big thank you to one of my best friends for motivating me to finish this.

This will most likely be a new sidebar image until I have time to draw something more appropriate for a sidebar. Since I want to redo the theme, icon, and header image in the next few months while working on questions.
