Dine In

After an early morning of rehearsal then live recordings, you can bet money that Hyejung was dying from hunger. Sure, fans gave idols the good stuff and they fed the backup dancers too which Hyejung was entirely grateful for the fans supplying food, donât get her wrong. However, Hyejungâs love for food almost matches her love for dancing. Although it was delicious, it wasnât enough.
As she left the broadcasting stationg, she immediately began heading over to her favorite restaurant, where her favorite waiter worked at. Thanks to one of the dance students, who was quite possibly hitting on her, she had feel in love with a family owned restaurant nearby. Not only was the food unique and delicious, the waiter that first greeted her quickly befriended her. Her first meal turned into what felt like an hour long interaction with her waiter, talking about everything and anything. Luckily, it wasnât busy and Hyejung made sure to only visit during the slow times, so that Tae never got in trouble. It might be his job, but Hyejung never wanted to intrude and possibly get him fired.
After her first meal, she slowly tried almost everything on the menu and began stopping by two times a week without realizing it. Whether it be dine in or take out, she made sure Tae was the person to help her. Comeback season always caused her to come around less frequently, but every time she came back Tae never seemed to forget her.
It was the early afternoon, right when people went back to work and restaurants were empty after the lunch rush, prime time for Hyejung to visit.
As she entered, she greeted the workers and quickly sat in her favorite two-seater table by the window that overlook the street.
She heard one of the workers call for Tae to come out and before she could even look over the familiar menu, he appeared in front of her, with a puppylike smile.
âI know itâs been a minute since Iâve been here. What would you recommend goes well with a lemonade? Also, howâs school going?â she laughed.
tae knew peak hours like the back of his hand. he caught on quickly to the times when he first started working at the restaurant until now. the busier the restaurant gotten, the faster the time went by. he would see all sorts of people, and even some heâd gotten close with due to his amount of talking with his customers, and whatnot. though, he didnât necessarily like the rush, he did like the amount of time that went by and when it was over he was more than ecstatic to take that few minute break. in the midst of downing a drink he fixed for himself while leaning on one of the tables in the back area he had heard another waiter call him to tell him a customer wanted to see him. for tae it wasnât much of a surprise, most people would sometimes request waiters, and though he was a bit sadden that the few minutes he gotten to himself was long over, he still kept a smile upon his face and went out to see who the customer was.Â
upon walking out from the back, he couldnât help but smile even more to see it was a customer whom he befriend over time. she didnât come often as she was mostly busy with her dancing, or at least thatâs what heâd been told. so, seeing the older female looking over the menu in her usual spot, tae did not take anymore time to make his way over to her.Â
when he arrived at her table, he made sure to greet her in order to get her attention. the words she spoke he could agree upon them. it had truly been a long time since heâd seen the female back in this restaurant, and as always she would come when it was less busy at the eatery that way he would have more time to talk with her, and not get in a load of trouble.Â
â itâs been too long, noona. â tae started, a small laugh emitting from his lips before leaning over a bit, and flipping a page on her menu to show what foods followed along with her request. â of course, you donât want anything traditional as that wouldnât settle well with your stomach. so, something filling would probably be a burger and fries, chicken strips, or the classic korean bbq. those are just my opinions though i say samgyeopsal, galbi those types of foods i would have. â he mentioned to the older, pointing at the different food choices that would go with her choice of drink that heâd already written down on his pad just in case.Â
â though, school is going just great. my grades are still up you know that scholarship is very important to me. howâs dancing? you seem more busy these days, you donât come back as often as you used too... â
