I woke up like an hour ago and can't get back to sleep bc I can't stop thinking about how we gotta GO to the AIRPORT and FLY to DISNEYLAND so let me instead regale you with my sister's struggle to travel with me and the fluffs bc we've maybe low key been driving her bonkers 🤭🤭

I asked her for the schedule she sent me back in like May bc I couldn't find it

"IT'S RIGHT HERE" she says, finding the message no problem and replying to it so I can see it again

A feat which I considered CRAZY bc ya girl tried that with 59 different search terms and COULD NOT FIND IT

She did it in one

ONE (1)

She'd captioned it trip and nothing else. Like. No WONDER I couldn't find it!!!

She figured out lightning lane and immediately made a plan to tackle the rides that AREN'T on lightning lane FIRST

Only to be told LAST NIGHT that Richard and I want to ride Space Mountain, causing her to apparently have to comPLETELY rework her route for that day and nearly put a wrench in EVERYTHING

Me last night: hey sis did you see there is a pixie hollow in Disneyland

Her: 🫩🫩🫩 I told you that MONTHS AGO

Me: you did??

Her: YES! AND I EVEN SAID I WANTED TO MEET TINKERBELL????

Richard's vibe this whole week has been WOOHOO VACATION

My sister's vibe this whole week has been VACATION?? NO. DISNEY IS AN ORDEAL! WE'VE GOTTA PLAN! WE'VE GOTTA BE STRATEGIC!

(For context, the reason we're going is because she's running one of the marathons from runDisney's Halloween marathon weekend! She did the Florida ones in March/April and wanted the coast to coast medal so she chose the half marathon lol)

(so she's missioning, whereas Richard and I are like "wheee it's the honeymoon trip we never had! Vacation time! DISNEYLAND!!")

(This is, as you can imagine, giving her cause for concern lmao)

I have had a bad time with the in-app map bc I keep browsing it and finding myself going from California Adventure to Disneyland without realizing it and confusing my sister about where things are

See: when I told her Star Wars Landing was in Disneyland and Richard wanted to walk through it, she spent an entire morning stressing bc she could CLEARLY see it in Disneyland and NOT California Adventure but I INSISTED bc "the map says California Adventure?!?!"

(I'd been scrolling around the map after selecting the Cars ride as my starting point from the list so when I saw Star Wars I assumed it was still in California Adventure lmao)

Nearly did the same thing last night bc for some odd reason I thought the Runaway Railroad was beside Tiana's Bayou Adventure

It was not

I could see the pain of a thousand years flash before her eyes before she immediately went DANIELLA. NO. DON'T DO THIS TO ME AGAIN

She gave Richard and I a lecture about how this ISN'T a VACATION (in a very non serious silly way) and we AREN'T prepared for what's happening and how she's gonna RUN to the expo the MOMENT we get off our flight while I was wearing Rapunzel/Tangled Mickey ears and Richard was wearing a Goofy baseball cap complete with Goofy ears and the teeth

(And her too bc her lecture was full of pushed back laughter lmao)

And we haven't even gotten on the plane yet 🤭

It's like. Hilarious and sad. Like they went out of their way to do something different with Sothis (a little meaner than her character in Houses, but I was so fucking interested to learn of a Sothis who Goes Off) and they simply. Left her by the wayside fkdhekwlw. I'm sad we didn't get a SS equivalent. Maybe the DLC will pull through? We do have about 10000 years of history just sitting there 😭
