Hello! We accept every kind of art, so headcanons are definitely allowed. As for rambles though, make sure that the writings are tidied up so that it makes sense. Usually rambles can be written as scenarios as well.

JELLE, I AM A GOOD PERSON I DON’T DESERVE THIS?????? why would you let me wake up to this????

...But no, okay, my opinion on Doctor Stranger is that is a trainwreck of wasted potential. It started out pretty strong (JSY aside, because her capability to emote is like a dead goldfish floating at the top of the fishbowl), but then ??? ?????

I can’t even put into words my frustration and confusion at the direction change the story took in the second half. It was really, blatantly obvious that they threw out all their original plans for the story in order to??? raise ratings??? appease netizens?? (doubtful on that one) appease someone else handing them fistfuls of won???? I really don’t know, but at some point, not only did the character’s personalities start contradicting their original incarnations, but so did the plot itself (you thought i was ill because i took medicine in private, but it was me!! random plot twist where i’m covering for another dude so i can kill him!!!) ???? when you can tell that even the actors are going “what the fuck is this shit” in their performances and throwing serious shade in their post-drama interviews, you know it’s a mess.

the only saving grace was that jongsuk largely held the mess up by himself, especially after the other main characters plotlines became an unsalvageable trainwreck. even hoon was barely recognizable by the end in terms of the writing, but he tried so hard to keep some sort of air of consistency that i can’t fault him for anyone.

tl;dr what a fucking gigantic disappointment and 20 hours of pure regret and having to resort to rp to get any semblance of the real otp

20. Game that you know like the back of your hand?

Tales of Graces, without any doubt in my mind. It’s the one game I that I not only know all the ins and outs of the combat, but how to maximize my gear, get all skits and chests, and do all the shitty puzzle dungeons without getting lost. I’m not sure there’s a game out there I know better aside from maybe Gen I Pokemon, but I haven’t touched that in at least 14 years so I probably don’t know it as well as I know Graces.

51. Have you ever played a game for so long that you forgot to eat or sleep?

I’m pretty sure that’s like the entirety of my existence?? No but really, I never forget to do either of those things. I’m the kind of person who always stops to eat when I’m hungry (bc I love food too much and we do have a meal schedule in my house), and I don’t have issue pausing to get a snack. Sleep is a little more ambiguous since I don’t sleep much normally, but it’s pretty rare that I forego sleep to game. Eating and sleeping are two of my favorite things outside of... gaming... I can’t really imagine forgetting those things or blatantly ignoring my body’s cues just because I’m in the zone.

do you know any kdramas/kmovies with mothers abusive towards their children? Behaving perfectly on the outside but serving them hell at home so no one believes the kid; loving themselves more than the kid and neglecting them; abandoning the kid on trivial matters; making a mess of kid's feelings, that kinds of things. All I can think of is Jihyuk's mother in Shut Up Flower Boy Band, Eunsung's mother in White Christmas, Joon-young's mother in Worlds Within and mothers in Pinocchio. Thanks!

This is actually a pretty tough one, since a lot of dramas, it’s pretty plainly obvious when a parent is cold (thanks, chabeol parents??), or the conflicts come out of good intentions. But let’s see...

Both moms in Bride of the Century are... pieces of work, that’s for sure. There’s even a grandma who did some questionable things wrt her own son...

Birth of a Beauty, Valid Love, and Emergency Couple all have some vaguely [waves arms around idk] emotionally trying or manipulative actions, but they’re in-laws so I’m not sure if you’d really count that (I do, though). 

Kill Me, Heal Me definitely has some of this going on in Cha Do Hyun’s family (like BoTC, they sure are something). This is probably the strongest instance of it, imo.

You’re Beautiful has one of these too, Tae Kyung’s mom ohhhhhhhhhh boy what a mom.

if you want to get into technicalities, the entire premise of City Hunter sort of comes from really fucked up parentage and they don’t really gloss over that fact at all, ever.

And then you’ve got the more “well, people know they’re kind of assholes bc they’re chaebols and while they act like their shit is in the best interest of their child, it’s really self-serving bullshit to maintain their ‘class standards’ or force them into a certain line of work.” like.  Heirs. Mary Stayed Out All Night (seriously, forcing your kid to maintain an engagement to someone she doesn’t love to pay off your own debts, and continuously pressing this point for basically the whole of 16 episodes is so awful).  My Lovely Girl. Secret.

Some more so than others, obviously, but these are all the ones I remember offhand where I was just endlessly agitated at the parents’ behavior and how it caused so many needless conflicts for their children (or just emotionally screwed them up via manipulation and shit).
