the original japanese title, “kyousei,” can be translated in a few different ways. “symbiosis” and “coexistence” are two possible translations. i go with coexistence because that is the title used by crunchyroll. =)

Do you know of any fics where it's set in Ancient Rome or Percy is a gladiator? Thanks in advance.

I don’t remember reading any personally, but I know there are tags for Ancient Rome AUs and Gladiator AUs on AO3. Maybe give those a try?

Homeostasis isn't the tri staffs fault though...thats the cannon name for it.

yeah, i get that. what i don’t get is why the original gang haven’t even mentioned the others, let alone tried to contact them. they tried to find ken, right? so why not send a text to daisuke or miyako asking if they’ve seen him, or if they know if something’s going on with him? it just seems really weird that there’s been no mention of them from the original gang whatsoever. they’re supposed to be friends, after all.

As for the rest its only movie 3/6.... a mystery is building up and we have to wait to see if it pays off

i know they’ll eventually explain everything, i’m just... impatient. =P

Why don't you make reaction videos to tv series, trailers and other geeky stuff? :)

I definitely plan to! Summer is binge season for me but it’s been going a little slow because real life suuuuucks, but I definitely want to do reaction videos for tv shows I’m going to binge soon, such as the latest seasons of Game of Thrones, Orphan Black, Outlander, etc. Trailers may be a little more difficult because it’s hard to talk at length about a 2-minute trailer, but I might still do it in the future (inevitably everything I record ends up being long-winded, anyway). Either way stay tuned, you’ll be seeing more of that in the near-ish future! Thanks so much for the suggestion! =)

Just wondering but...why do we have to be over 16 to join?

It’s just to have a baseline of maturity and writing level. Because this is a news blog rather than a personal opinion blog, we need our staff to be comfortable with the basics of the journalistic style, which is a bit more advanced than the average youngest users of Tumblr are accustomed to using. We’re not going for stuffy and pretentious or anything – I’d like to think the way we do things here is fairly relaxed – but we prefer for our staff to still know the basics of how to write news.

Not that there aren’t people under 16 who are just as mature as an adult and can write just as well as a professional journalist (and we encourage them to keep applying those skills!), but we just wanted to have a sort of starting line.

Hope that makes sense! And if anyone has any more questions about our application requirements, feel free to ask. =)

Do you know if there any fics about Reyna and Thalia as a ship?

I believe there are a few, although I haven’t personally read any – they tend to come up more as a supporting pairing rather than as the focus of the story. Maybe try looking through the Reyna/Thalia tag on AO3?
