please be sure to read the following guidelines before applying !
applications for new characters will be accepted according to the rules below. however, we ask that existing characters wishing to make the transition be of the EXPERT skill level in order to be approved. this is to avoid unrealistic skill level jumps in established characters (such as from intermediate to x-men).
expect the administrators to be particular with your power segments, as x-men are twice as likely to engage in battle with other roleplayers. we have to be absolutely sure that your written ability is not overpowered and/or godmodding.
by the same token, we have to use discretion about what character archetypes are allowed into the x-men. needless to say, if your character is a sadistic psychopath (even to a lesser degree), they will not be eligible. likewise, if they are not willing to fight (be it for the protection missions they will be assigned, or for the lives of their comrades, etc), they will not be eligible. for this reason, the administrators will be evaluating your history and personality segments as well to be sure that your character is a fit for a position among xavier's most trusted peers.
we ask that when writing your biographies, that your character not be new to the school, as it is unlikely that xavier would grant a new student immediate access into the ranks. the minimum requirement at this point is six months at the school in your history.
as stated previously, past candidates may apply for a position among the x-men (regardless of the conclusion of the interview). we ask, however, that your character adhere to the above rules. the administrators will be looking for signs that your character is a decent fit for the x-men, as these characters will become the backbone of the plot and are required to be strong and willing. conflicting views with xavier, at this point, will not fly.
lastly, x-men get their own rooms.

I repeat. We are not okay with plagiarism. In the past couple days, we have been corresponding with an applicant who we found today to be plagiarizing their personality and history segments from another roleplayer (in addition to neglecting to read our rules page). It goes without saying that they were denied.
In hopes of preventing such an incident from occurring in the future, we are choosing to make our decline message to them public, in addition to a confirmation message from the individual that they plagiarized.
Please, think twice before applying to this roleplay with a stolen character. We can and will take measures to find your source and notify them, as well as banning any and all offenders from First Class. There is a line between inspiration and verbatim stealing, do not cross it.

The lockdown at XAVIER’S SCHOOL FOR GIFTED YOUNGSTERS has officially ended ! As Xavier himself is getting a headache from all the whining students confined there, he is permitting ventures outside under the understanding that measures to avoid identification must be used when one is entering and exiting Busan. Those not involved directly in the conflicts within the city may also offer their assistance to the recovery efforts taking place in the districts most affected by the attack. For safety reasons, it is advised that any student exiting the school for any amount of time leave behind any identifying materials that could be linked back to XAVIER’s and endanger their peers.
Please note that despite what Governor Oh Jiho has stated in his address, the mutant identification process is a slow one, with the authorities only having medium quality and/or damaged footage of the battles that took place that night. Take into account that there will be deceiving angles in the photos as they are screen captures taken from night footage, but that you will certainly be recognized if you're not careful. There are soldiers stationed at various checkpoints, and they will ask that you remove all disguising items, so be sure to avoid them !
If a student identified by the Busan authorities enters into a conflict after being discovered, they are to retreat directly to a safe house located at the edge of the city and remain there until further notice. (Please notify the admins if you are currently seeking refuge at this safe haven.) The small house is under the care of an elderly woman bearing elite level Imperceptibility. She has been briefed ahead of time of each student’s identity (name and face) and will allow only them to see the location of the safe house; where the door has been marked with a yellow ribbon.
Students are expected to treat this individual with the utmost respect, as she is a kind woman (who enjoys baking cookies for her guests) as well as being invaluable to guaranteeing the safety of many lives.
