Apis gave a concerned look. “I think... she’s depressed. It’s really hard to cheer her up sometimes... I hope Honey comes back soon with good news.”

It was another day in the garden. The butterflies were fluttering, and Apis was buzzing away as he was pulling the weeds. There was a tired sigh from him before he stretched his arms. His joints have been feeling a bit stiff lately, but he figured it wasn’t anything to worry about.

What was more important was that he planned on bringing some special plant seeds over to Bloom’s garden and check up on her. They didn’t see each other too often because of work, but Apis had grown a bit attached to her. She always seemed so gloomy at first until he showed up. It had been too long since his last visit, so he knew he would have to make one today.

But first, he needed to finish weeding.

“I haven’t gotten to get to know her very well, but I’m super happy she’s here. Both of the gardens were kind of a mess so I was stressing out about having to clean both by myself and manage the gardens. With my new coworker we’re going to be able to work on both gardens together!”

Honey was a gardener too. And besides, you're both Lightbots. The ability to be like her is in your programming.

They did have a point. Honey had been a gardener. But that didn’t mean Apis believed he could be a fighter or a hero.

He liked being a gardener anyhow.

You could run away from your life and join them, Apis. I bet those two never get yelled at for not working hard enough. And I'm sure Honey would love to see that you finally realize you deserve better treatment than you're given.

Apis gave a slow shake of his head. “I’m a gardener.” He wasn’t a hero, and even if he could be one he wouldn’t know how to find Honey or Megaman.
