Well, this was certainly unexpected. Wrapping up a routine scouting mission in Jianye, Jixun had stopped by the market to stock up on food and a nice bottle of wine (Wu most certainly knew their liquor) before returning home.
Now he found himself bumping shoulders with the second child of Sun Jian as they waited for fresh meat buns to finish steaming. More than once had he caught the tiger’s eyes glance his way, and he felt that a conversation would have to kick up so as not to arouse too much suspicion towards him.
