Reforming Headcanons (a repost from my main)
Black Opal would take the longest time to reform out of all my oc gems because they're incredibly vain and self-absorbed. Magnetite would unfortunately get bullied into matching them whenever they changed their appearance. She’d find it annoying but would indulge them so they'd shut up about it and leave her alone.
After Magnetite splits into the Twins, they’d be super obsessive about not matching because they don’t like each other. But they’d both end up wearing eerily similar clothing (probably the same outfit, just flipped) and having the same hairstyle. They’d bicker about who’s copying who.
Lepidolite has probably gone through several forms because he’s always getting into scraps. He’s the type that would make really minute changes to himself and then upon reforming expects somebody to notice what he updated. And he’ll pin people with sad puppy dog eyes until they see what’s been changed.
Sodalite is just as prone to accidents and damage as Lepidolite but she never updates her appearance. She’s conscious of changes other people make but doesn’t know what to do with her own looks. So she’d literally have the same outfit and hair forever and ever.
